The RM 220E regulator is an electronic speed variator for the MINI MOTOR single-phase asynchronous motor of the ACR / ACER / PAR / PAER / MCR / MCER series. Speed variation is obtained by varying the power supply voltage to the motor at the right moment. The retroaction control makes it possible to maintain a constant rotation speed of the motor in line with the variation of the load applied. Speed regulation is obtained by means of a potentiometer fitted on the front panel of the unit, and 4 incorporated trimmers are used for regulating: The acceleration and deceleration ramps, the response time and maximum speed, and master or slave selection. This speed regulator can be supplied in the RM 220E panel version with the possibility of inserting an ID speed indicator as an option. It is also available in the open version RM 220E/G for electrical board or cabinet fitting. The RM 220E regulator conforms to tests prescribed by product standard CEI EN 61800-3 dated 09/96 and has been designed to operate in industrial environments. It is not therefore suitable for use on low-voltage public networks supplying power to homes.

The MININVERT 370 and 740 are static frequency converters with PWM microprocessor system, which make it possible to obtain high performance features such as speed control in retroaction and position control. These models have been designed to activate small three-phase motors with power between 10 and 370 W (½ HP) for the 370 model, and up to 740 W (1 HP) for the 740 model. They can be panel-mounted as well as with the normal attachment inside the cabinet using the
related supports. A particular feature is that of position control, which is handled entirely by the inverter and can be controlled in various ways (see the table of technical characteristics). The frequency converters comply with CEI EN 61800-3 electromagnetic compatibility standard.

The G5 Drive 600 Volt produces an output of adjustable voltage and frequency to control the speed of a squirrel cage induction motor. This PWM design provides low motor noise and high starting torque. Current overload rating is 150% for 60 seconds. OS3 drives can be directly connected to the 3 phase supply network. They operate with a nominal 400V to 480V AC power input. This characteristic allows the product to be used in applications in a variety of geographical locations without need for a transformer to adapt to the local power source. The drives have an internal supply derived from the 3 phase to feed the control’s electronics. This feature allows dynamic breaking in the event of interruption of the power network. The control’s electronics are also supported by an external 24v d.c. supply. During the dynamic breaking phase, energy accumulated by the load is dissipated across internal breaking resistors. For extremely heavy work cycles an external breaking resistor can be connected in place of, or in parallel with the internal resistors. In common with most drives, the high-tension bus is accessible through a connector, this allows the use of external supplies containing breaking resistance. Various motors with different technologies can be controlled, such as permanent magnet motors, brush-less motors, induction motors and variable reluctance motors. The standard transducer is a sinusoidal encoder (Sin-Cos). Programmable inputs and outputs increase the drive’s flexibility. The OS3 family of drives is available in 2 different families : family A includes three power size 3/6A , 5/10A and 9/18A connected to the three-phase power supply with a voltage level between 220 VAC and 480 VAC +-10%. Family B includes three power size 5/10A , 10/20A and 15/30A connected to the three-phase power supply with a voltage level between 380VAC and 440VAC +-10%.

SINAMICS GL150
The rugged converter for synchronous motors up to 75 MW
The LCI-converter (load commutated inverter) SINAMICS GL150 extends the SINAMICS drive family to highest power ratings.
SINAMICS GL150 is designed as a drive converter for single-motor applications with variable and constant torque characteristic. The converter is available in air- and water-cooled design and achieves power ratings up to 74 MW (water-cooled design). Higher ratings are available on request.
SINAMICS GL150 is used for speed-variable operation as well as for start-up operation of large synchronous motors and generators. The typical speed range extends up to approx. 6000 rpm. When used as start-up converter the speed-range is limited by the synchronous line frequency. Within this range a speed control range of 1:10 or 1:100 can be realized. Due to the topology regenerative (4Q) operation is possible without additional measures. The drive converters SINAMICS GL150 drive converters offer an economical drive solution for highest power ratings of 74 MW and beyond, which can be adapted to specific customer needs with a wide range of optionally available components and accessories.
