H2 ECOnomy's new FC-EduSet Fuel Cell Laboratory Set operates any PEM air/hydrogen or oxygen/hydrogen fuel cells from 10 watts up to 100 watts and 20 VDC. Tailor made for educational settings, this new teaching tool has the flexibility to evaluate fuel cell performance by varying gas flows and load on the fuel cell, and simultaneously collect the data needed to produce polarization curves.
The system is manually operated to set gas pressures, gas flow rates and the current drawn from the fuel cell. The 100 watt load bank displays the voltage, current and power of the fuel cell.
Expertise and creativity ensure a constantly optimised portfolio. A newly developed humidification system with integrated moisture measurement allows for the dynamic operation of the test stand and is particularly suitable for small gas flow. Portable test stands permit additional flexibility in use. Test stands with electrochemical workstation are available with integrated impedance spectrometer. Self-contained systems for power supply with fuel cells have already been provided. A complete vehicle model (CarSim®) with fuel cell drive is optimally suited as development tool for simulations or for HIL link-up. Furthermore MAGNUM can be characterised by its all-around services for fuel cells including amongst others conception and programming of controls for fuel cells or the carrying out of safety analysis.
H2 ECOnomy’s Gas Control Units (GCU) are designed for testing hydrogen/oxygen or hydrogen/air fuel cells, including the measurement and control of the pressure, mass flow, temperature and humidity of the H2 and O2 or Air. Two humidifiers with ramped heating temperature regulation and a bypass line allow operation with or without humidification. All you need to control the supply of gases to your fuel cells!
H2 ECOnomy's Electronic Load Banks (ELB) are designed to monitor and control the voltage, current, and power of your fuel cell or another DC power source. These affordable and easy-to-use load banks come in three modifications; for handling fuel cells up to 1500 W, 500 W and 150 W. A PC interface can be added to enable full control of the load bank from a personal computer using the Automated User Control Interface (AUCI) software, as well as to record and digitally/graphically display the test data.
The MEDUSA Series Fuel Cell Test Stations are designed, engineered, and built by engineers and technicians that have been designing and manufacturing reliable electrochemical hydrogen systems for over 35 years.
