The “original” Smokeeter, pronounced “Smoke Eater,” is United Air Specialists' most well-known commercial indoor air cleaner. Most commonly used in bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, office buildings and other public facilities, the Smokeeter is the best electrostatic precipitator in the industry. TEKA offers a wide range of suction units for more than one working place. The picture shows a cartridge filter unit for welding applications (it is suitable for the treatment of steel, galvanized steel, aluminium etc.). We offer these units in various versions - with HEPA filter or with filter cartridge (with manual or automatic dedusting). The units for welding applications (mobile or for wall-mounting) are available with one or two suction arms. For more than two working places we offer our centralized suction units.
For soldering, laser and/or electronics applications TEKA offers units for up to 4 working places. These units are equipped with several filter steps (prefilter, HEPA filter and activated carbon filter).

The FumeFighter® fume extraction air cleaners are designed to capture and clean fumes and gases generated from soldering, adhesives, stained glass work and many other indoor applications. Exceptionally high quality air cleaner package couples the largest filters available in the industry with a compact, vibration free blower package. Filters include a true 99.97% HEPA filter with over 82 sq. ft of media and a 15 lb. sorbent media filter to insure high efficiency and longevity. The HEPA filter alone in this unit is as large as many of the competitors whole air cleaner! The gas filter cartridge is also 5 times larger than the average competitor's gas cartridge. It has been shown that a doubling of media area results in filter life approximately 4 times longer for a comparable airflow. The blower package is a German built motorized impeller using a very high efficiency external rotor motor that delivers more airflow with less energy. The Geovent GFB filter is the complete filter solution, when the extracted air has to be cleaned. The GFB filter has a fully automated, pneumatic filter cleaning system, which cleans the polluted air with up to 99.97%.
The filter can find use in many situations, but will primarily be used within industries, where polluted air from processes such as welding, plasma / laser cutting, grinding, powder enamelling, etc. needs to be filtrated.
The filter is suitable for airflows of up to 7,200 m³/h depending on the particle load. If the need for a lager capacity should arise, several filters can be connected in parallel.
As standard, the filter is delivered in fully galvanized execution with an automated, pneumatic cleaning system, collection bucket, filter control - and furthermore, it is now affordable to do something about the environment...

Adapter for exhaust ventilation hood (diameter 150)
We differentiate between pipetype and hosetype as well as internal and external joints. As they come with a spring support, all of the arms are self-supporting in the set position.
The exhaust ventilation hood is equipped with a throttle valve that enables the flow rate to be set individually. For lengths of 5 m and more, the arm is supplied with an additional wall-mounted boom of 2 or rather 4 m length. This is equipped with a C-beam for attaching a mechanical wire box or tools.

The smart solution without ductwork
Diluter systems are the solution, when source extraction and hoods are not an option when large pieces of metal are fabricated, various welding processes take place at continuously changing locations and ductwork is difficult to install. The Diluter system has been designed especially for light to medium welding processes.
Flexible solution
Installing the Diluter system is easy as you do not need any ductwork. It does not only save ductwork (thus labour) costs, it is also a very flexible solution for facilities with many welding processes, changing locations constantly. The Diluter system suits almost any workshop.
Minor investment maximum result
The Diluter system consists of three main components: the filter unit, a fan and the Diluter itself. The Diluter is an air circulation unit with six multidirectional outlet nozzles. The unit re-circulates the cleaned air into the workshop by means of the outlet nozzles. The nozzles can be rotated to optimise extraction.
The airflows from the nozzles can be controlled individually making the system unique. Positioning the nozzles inside the welding fume layer gives the best result (usually between four and six metres). The main benefit is the relatively small investment for controlling welding fumes in your plant.
