AirClean Systems PCR Combination Workstation
AirClean®Systems PCR workstations with UVTect™ microprocessor control, allow you to maintain a Class 100 clean work area during PCR preparation. The AC600 Series LFUV Model has a built-in 254 nm ultraviolet light that allows the operator to irradiate tubes, flasks and pipettes between amplifications. The 254 nm ultraviolet light will effectively destroy potentially contaminating DNA and RNA within minutes. UVTect™ monitors the life of the bulb to ensure proper levels of irradiation.
The workstations feature a unique interlocking sash with a safety overlap to prevent gaps. The sash also has a safety switch that automatically turns off the ultraviolet light and activates the blower and fluorescent light when the sash is raised. This revolutionary uni-body design provides unmatched user protection from harmful ultraviolet rays during the sterilization process. HEPA filtered units have a built-in monitoring system to alert the user when to change the HEPA filter.

BIGNEAT's PCR UV workstation efficiently protects against contamination by bathing PCR aparatus in sterile air and limiting the risk of contamination from the operators arms, or from equipment bought into the otherwise sterile environment.
Powerful UV lamps are combined with optical reflectors to ensure uniform intensity distribution of the sterilising UV radiation.

POWERFUL UV DECONTAMINATION
The UV lamp insures a full decontamination of the entire work surface, enclosure walls and PCR equipment.
AN ERGONOMY OF QUALITY

Internal chamber and shelves are in stainless steel; external cabinet in brushed AISI 0 stainless steel sheet and equipped with split opening door with sealing. Heating is achieved with specific air heaters; discharge of steam inside the chamber occurs by means of centrifugal electroaspirator with 0 m³/h flow rate.
The electrical system is provided with general switch and running light signal. Thermal stability is obtained through PID digital electronic μP regulator (with RTD Pt100 OHM input); it is paired with specific SSR, suited to absorbing load of heaters. In addition, each appliance is equipped with aerators and adjustable supports for shelving.
