Handling Equipment
Cranes and other lifting equipment are some of the traditional products made by UNEX a.s. UNEX offers a wide variety of lifting equipment – from simple hoists to sophisticated devices manufactured according to customer requirements including general repairs and renovation of all types of cranes.
Manufactured types of cranes:
* Bridge cranes – chiefly used for handling loads in manufacturing process
* Portal cranes – used for handling goods in trans-shipment centres
* Assembling jib cranes – used for assembling and disassembling equipment, devices, machine chambers, power stations etc.
* Port cranes – used in ports for handling all kinds of goods
* Special cranes – key-ready cranes at the customer’s request
Engineering characteristics at the customer’s request:
* Movement: stationary, movable, revolving
* Actuating: manual, electric, hydraulic
* Construction: box, frame
* Operating: wireless (radio) or infrared remote control, hanging push-button panel, possibly from a cabin or a crane cage
* Power supply: trolley wire (wire, track, angle, covered), cable drum
When manufacturing and repairing cranes we use components from world-established manufacturers in the field of power supply systems (Wampfler, Vahle), and in the field of updating and operating systems with frequency converters (Nord, Lenze, Telemecanique).

- DERRICK CRANES designed for erecting steel or concrete bridges
- CANTILEVER LIFTING DEVICES, i.e. devices for lifting and positioning steel or concrete segments

- SHAFT CRANES, usually set to work in sites for the construction of dams or tunnels
- BACK-UP SYSTEM FOR TBM, i.e.: Systems for automatic feeding of the concrete elements forming the tunnel roofs to the positioning equipment; Erectors for automatic placing of the segments; Trolleys to transport the diggings or for personnel transportation inside tunnels (with catalyzed mufflers and particulate filters for operations in tunnels)
- AUTOMATIC WAGGON OVERTURNING SYSTEMS for the automatic overturning of waggons, used mainly at the exit of tunnels being build to discharge the contents of the waggons onto trucks or dumpers used to transport the diggings deriving from tunnel excavation

The equipment, used for transporting and handling cruise-boat elements weighing up to 300t, has a lifting travel - under the hook - of 50m and a span of 45m.

Application:
The 4 leg gantry is designed to assist in the demolding process
in cast marble or solid surface production. Utilizing lifters and hoists, the
demolding gantry can greatly reduce the amount of stress and damage
to the molds, as well as decreasing the time needed to demold product.
Also available in the bulk bag gantry system for the Autocastertm and
Batchmastertm casting systems.

4 leg demold gantries feature a heavy duty steel I beam, 3" tube
steel legs, electric or pneumatic hoists, dual or quad cup lifters, and
durable Gruber blue powder coating for protection. 4 leg demold/bulk
bag gantries are available in lengths of up to 16 feet.

Gantry cranes provide economical material handling in areas where an overhead crane system is not available or practical. Their safety and efficiency make them a frequent choice for production, installation and maintenance applications. They are often used in maintenance shops, machine shops and loading areas.
Gantry cranes have four roller-bearing steel wheels for easy maneuverability. Casters are available in a wide variety of sizes and styles. They can be provided as an option from Bushman AvonTec, or the purchaser may provide them.
Bushman AvonTec gantry cranes are available in either fixed or adjustable height models. Both types can be disassembled into three components for portability. The structural steel legs are welded together at the factory.

Adjustable Height Gantry Cranes provide an economical way to lift materials anywhere in a facility. The wheels enable you to move the gantry around your facility. The crane can be adjusted to provide different lifting heights. This is a more cost effective solution for areas of infrequent lifts than a more expensive permanent structure. Available in capacities from 1 - 5 ton and spans up to 30'. Adjustable in 3 ft. increments (see brochure).

The structure consists of two lattice beams with triangle section, interconnected at their ends via suitable horizontal bracings.
Such beams work as rolling ways for the winch trolleys which lift and transport the P.C. beams.
The longitudinal motion of the launching girder (or self-launching) is achieved via capstan mounted on one of the two winch trolleys.
By anchoring alternatively the beams or the winches it is possible to motion the P.C. beams or the launching girder respectively.

Portal Cranes
Portal Cranes are self-supported Hoisting Solutions whose working area is partially or completely defined by a rail path at floor-level.
These types of cranes are usually used by large industries that prefer to have complementary hoisting capacity operationally independent of its major overhead-cranes or by industries or sites whose structural characteristics makes more recommendable to use a self-sustained system.

Portable gantry cranes by SPANCO offer economical and versatile lifting solutions. With SPANCO gantry cranes, there is no permanent installation making them ideal if you rent or lease your facility.
