How to choose this product
A gas air heater is an apparatus which uses a gas burner to heat the ambient air in large industrial and commercial spaces. Other heater types use electric resistance elements, hot water or steam to heat the air.
Gas air heaters are quite common, though regulations prohibit or limit their use in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
A gas air heater uses a burner whose hot exhaust gas passes through a tubular heat exchanger. The combustion system must be separated from the ambient air; its exhaust gases exit via a chimney or exhaust fan. The other major component of the system is a blower which forces ambient air through the heat exchanger, creating an outflow that mixes the ambient air, preventing thermal stratification. Since each heater contains its own burner, this system is suitable for decentralized installation.
How to choose
A thermal study of the building will indicate the required number and model of heaters. Other criteria include building use, layout and comfort parameters (output temperature, noise level, air currents produced).
