Series 1200 Analyzer — Trace N2 in Argon
Series 1300 Analyzer — Trace N2 in Helium
Series 1400 Analyzer — Trace H2O in Argon
Each series has two models to choose from covering different ranges:
“A” covers 0-2/0-20 ppm
“B” covers 0-20/0-200 ppm
Detection is based on spectral emission of argon (helium – Series 1300) plasma. High signal gain and improved noise rejection, gives each series the guaranteed sensitivity of 10 ppb for the impurity.
Each analyzer is designed as a rugged, low cost, low maintenance, straightforward instrument to operate. There are no valves, carrier gas, or radioactive source. The analyzer is virtually maintenance-free. Features of the analyzers include on-line, continuous trending of impurity concentration with no need for sample injection or separation columns; Exposure to atmosphere or high impurity concentrations does not result in damage to the analytical cell; Recovers quickly from high impurity levels; Rapid recovery is enhanced by the unique detector design; Over-range protection eliminates possibility of false readings caused by high impurity plasma quenching; A non-depleting cell for extended operation provides long life and is maintenance-free; Patented electro-optical modulation eliminates unwanted noise and drift.

The FLAMCHECK portable combustion analyser system enables simultaneous quick and accurate measurements of the various chemical parameters bound to combustion with regard to industrial installations such as: Refineries; Steel industries; Power plants…
The gas sample is taken up through a probe and passed through a condensate trap and a solid particle filter, thereby avoiding any trace of humidity and dust.
The clean & dry sample is then directed to three electrochemical sensors allowing simultaneous measurement of the Oxygen (O2), the Nitrogen Monoxide (NO) and the Carbon Monoxide (CO) concentrations.
Advantages:
• Robust industrial design for daily use in harsh environments.
• High reliability of the measurements thanks to its automatic zero calibration (the time period between calibrations can be programmed).
• Automatic Condensate Recovery and draining
Enables optimum protection of the measuring cells.
• Automatic Protection of the measuring cells when highly concentrated or unusually high temperature samples are present.
• Data display on a large and interactive backlit screen for a user-friendly and simultaneous display of all parameters. |

Portable Gas Conditioning System TGAK 3
The Buhler Model TGAK 3 is a complete, portable gas conditioning system in a rugged metal case.
The basic model consists of a gas cooler with condensate vessel, a gas pump, filter, moisture detector and a flow meter with needle valve. A version without the pump is also available.
The TGAK features a unique fail-safe interlock which inhibits the operation of the sample pump until the cooler has reached it´s operational temperature of 5°C. Additional features include a moisture sensor which also inhibits sample pump operation in the event moisture is detected downstream of the cooler. The sample then passes through a fine particulate filter to ensure analyzer cleanliness
All wetted parts are available in a variety of materials for corrosive, non-corrosiveand reactive applications.
Condensate removal is accomplished with either a condensate vessel, a manual drain valve or an integrated peristaltic pump.
Additional options or design variations are available upon request. Please contact one of our application specialists for further information
Outlet dew point and alarm threshold adjustable

19” Sample Gas Conditioning System SCS
The Buhler Model SCS Sample Gas Conditioner is a pre-engineered, pre-packaged sampling system including all pneumatic components that are normally used in gas analysis systems. The SCS integrates the following pneumatic functions: sample pump, sample cooler, calibration gas valves, flow meters, condensate drains, particulate filtration, and operator interface, PLC or data logger control features all into a single 19” rack-mount enclosure.
The design concept emphasizes modularity allowing easy and cost effective configuration to different applications. The SCS may be controlled manually or externally. System status is shown on the front panel and may be output to external devices.
To create a complete analysis system, a probe, a heated sample line and an analyzer can be added to the SCS. A PLC may also be used to automate the system. All parts requiring maintenance are easily accessible from the front panel.
Many variations and options are available for this unit depending on the specific requirements of the application.
Please contact one of our application specialists for further details on how the SCS Gas Conditioning system can be configured to meet your requirements.

QMS 403 C Aëolos® - Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer
The QMS 403 Aëolos® quadrupole mass spectrometer is a new compact mass spectrometer with a heated capillary inlet system for routine analysis of gases and, in particular, volatile decomposition products of thermal analysis. This system has been optimized for coupling to differential scanning calorimeters, dilatometers and thermogravimetric analyzers.
The high temperature of the gas transfer system and the absence of pressure reduction orifices practically eliminate condensation of decomposition products during thermal analysis experiments. This achieves a high detection sensitivity and facilitates quantitative detection of all identified gas components.
Via the inlet system with the fused silica capillary, other gas sources can be investigated with the QMS 403 C Aëolos® independent of thermal analysis; for that purpose, the QMS is operated with the self-contained software.
The concept of the NETZSCH thermal analysis instruments has been laid out from the start for coupling with gas analysis systems like the QMS 403 C Aëolos® or an FTIR system with a gas cell, through consistent optimization of the gas paths with complete heating from the furnace to the gas detector. This eliminates gas loss through condensation at cold spots and only very low carrier gas flows are sufficient for complete transfer. |
