LumaSense offers the maket quality photoacoustic-based gas monitoring solutions. The Photoacoustic Multi-gas Monitor 1314 is a highly accurate, reliable and stable quantitative gas monitor. Its measurement principle is based on the photoacoustic infra-red detection method. This means that the 1314 can measure almost any gas which absorbs infra-red light.
Selectivity is achieved through the use of optical filters. By installing up to 5 optical filters in the 1314, it can measure the concentration of up to 5 component gases and water vapor in any air sample. Detection limit is gas-dependent, but is typically in the ppb region. The accuracy of measurements is ensured by the 1314's ability to compensate for temperature and pressure fluctuations, water-vapor interference and interference from other gases known to be present (Cross-compensation). The MultiRAE Plus combines a PID (Photoionization Detector) with the standard four gases of a confined space monitor (O2, LEL, and two toxic gas sensors) in one compact monitor with sampling pump. The MultiRAE Plus gets the job done in more circumstances than any other gas detector. The MultiRAE Plus is quickly and easily changed from a sophisticated technician instrument to a simple text-only monitor. The same monitor can be used as a personal monitor, a hand-held sniffer, or as a continuous operational area monitor.
