Flexible ModBus RTU interface
4-20 mA outputs (820 only)
Auto-configuration of iTrans and AirAware monitors (810 only)
The 810/820 family of gas controllers are ideal for installations under 16 points. The 810 Controller is a digital ModBus controller that can act as both a master and slave device. It can communicate with up to 16 iTrans or AirAware units on a network. A second ModBus interface allows the 810 to be a ModBus RTU slave device on large networks. The 810 Controller has an LCD display, 16 programmable relays for turning on/off external alarms, and on-board audio and visual alarms.
The 820 Controller is 2 channel analog controller. The 820 can accept two 4-20 mA signals from any transmitter and displays the reading on the large LED display. The 820 has 4-20 mA pass-through allowing the analog signal to be passed along to other control devices. A ModBus RTU interface on the 820 Controller allows it to be placed onto larger digital networks.

QMS 403 C Aëolos® - Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer
The QMS 403 Aëolos® quadrupole mass spectrometer is a new compact mass spectrometer with a heated capillary inlet system for routine analysis of gases and, in particular, volatile decomposition products of thermal analysis. This system has been optimized for coupling to differential scanning calorimeters, dilatometers and thermogravimetric analyzers.
The high temperature of the gas transfer system and the absence of pressure reduction orifices practically eliminate condensation of decomposition products during thermal analysis experiments. This achieves a high detection sensitivity and facilitates quantitative detection of all identified gas components.
Via the inlet system with the fused silica capillary, other gas sources can be investigated with the QMS 403 C Aëolos® independent of thermal analysis; for that purpose, the QMS is operated with the self-contained software.
The concept of the NETZSCH thermal analysis instruments has been laid out from the start for coupling with gas analysis systems like the QMS 403 C Aëolos® or an FTIR system with a gas cell, through consistent optimization of the gas paths with complete heating from the furnace to the gas detector. This eliminates gas loss through condensation at cold spots and only very low carrier gas flows are sufficient for complete transfer.

Either in environmental related gas analysis like stack testing, continuous emission monitoring (CEM), vehicle emission testing or LEL warning indication and in process applications like combustion efficiency monitoring, boiler trim, ethylene plants or petro chemistry, sample gas needs to be extracted from the gas stream.
It is obvious, that for a reliable analysis the sample gas must be extracted free of ambient gas leaking into the system and at the same time the dew point of the sample must remain stable.
This explains why the sample gas probe is the important interface between the process and the analyser system.
Quality, reliability and low operation cost have been the main targets for the development of this programme. The results are outstanding: the modular design allows application specific combinations in a very price effective manner.
The GAS 222 series of sample probes provides "down to earth" solutions based on advanced modular designs.Depending on the application, a variaty of heated or unheated basis units can be combined with in-situ or downstream filters. The filter material can be chosen from sintered ceramic to sintered stainless steel or even pleated stainless steel. Filters with large surfaces provide long life time. For the in-situ filters a highly efficient blowback system is available at reasonable cost.
Bühler sample gas probes are the best solutions if cost effective installation and low operational cost are a concern!

The gas sample probes are used for continuous extraction of gases from dust loaden, high temperature or humid processes for the gas analysis.
Unheated, heated, explosion proof and portable versions are available.
Due to its modular design the gas sample probes can be adapted to nearly all process conditions.

8-48 analog input
Up to 72 digital ModBus inputs
Programmable relay outputs
Telephone alarm notification
1,000 entry event log
ModBus master or slave device

Independent relay activation
Easy channel configuration
Remote telephone dial-up capabilities
The 4800 Controller from Industrial Scientific is an 8-48 analog input controller. With its optional onboard relays, the 4800 can control alarms, fans, horns, etc., when alarm conditions are reached. Being fully programmable, relays can be set to activate from multiple channels, or multiple relays can be programmed to a single channel. Time delays can also be programmed for each relay. This allows the relays to activate after alarm conditions are met for specified periods, or deactivate after a specified time prior to an alarm.
Along with monitoring analog signals, the 4800 Controller can also monitor up to 72 digital ModBus RTU inputs. The 4800 can be set up as a ModBus RTU master unit to monitor these channels, or it can be set up as a ModBus RTU slave device. As a ModBus RTU slave device, the 4800 Controller can communicate to SCADA, HMI, and PLC controlled systems.
