COMTEC® 6000 is an InSitu Oxygen & COe (Combustibles) flue gas and process gas analyser. The innovative combustibles sensor pioneered and developed by ENOTEC (patent pending), combines with its world-proven "leak-proof" Zirconia Cell technology to produce the worlds first InSitu O2 & COe analyser.
Both measuring cells, (O2 & COe), are actually located inside the process measuring actual real-time values without the need for sampling, conditioning and expensive hybrid systems. The COMTEC® 6000 probe simply installs directly inside the duct for direct & continuous dual readings of Oxygen & COe present. COMTEC® 6000 can easily be installed as standalone instrument or as a retrofit upgrade to an existing system. It's designed to be maintenance free, with minimal calibration requirements, and completely user-friendly operation.

Conditioning Systems
Every kind of gas analysis, either fairly straight forward single component analysis or complex multi component process gas analysis require application specific sample gas conditioning systems. These systems must deliver continuously reliable process data even under varying ambient and/ or process conditions.
It is quite obvious, that stack testing has other requirements than engine emission testing, EPA methods testing or process applications in the food industry just to name a few.
Bühler delivers modular designed prefabricated systems as mobile or stationary stand alone or 19” rack mount solutions and assists in planning application specific gas analysis systems on panels, in cubicles or analyser shelter.

The continuous measurement of oxygen and COe (combustibles) in cement plants has always been a challenge for any type of analysing probe. Up to now, it’s been nearly impossible to extract measuring gas for continuous analysing systems, because the probe becomes “cemented over and sealed” very quickly, resulting in extremely high maintenance costs and kiln production down time. Now ENOTEC has solved these special analysing problems in the cement industry with the new analysing system called CEMTEC®. Now Cement plants are able to significantly reduce their maintenance costs to a fraction of their previous costs. Mounted in a water-cooled outer jacket, the measuring probe is continuously turning +/- 90°. This keeps the gas inlet area free of cement and prevents the dust build up on the probe filter. Additionally, a highly effective automatic cleaning system with pressurised air ensures that the probe with its dust filter and the gas channels remain completely clean and clear. The InSitu probe measures oxygen using a ZrO2 cell and the COe concentration with a Ga2O3 sensor. The system delivers 2 continuous measuring signals with a response time less than 1 second. In addition, it is also possible to extract flue gas for the extractive type flue gas analysis (SO2, NOx, etc.).

G460 Multi-Gas Detector – Hands Free Assurance
The durable G460 continuously measures and displays readings for up to seven gases at the same time. Its functional, watertight design (IP67) and the rubberized shock resistant housing (280 grams) make the G460 an ideal device for daily operations in rough environments. A large, easy to read, three-color display changes color to indicate the severity of the alarm; the backlight color changes from green for "OK" to orange or red for an alarm. The loud audible alarm (103 dB at 12"), built-in vibrator and bright 360° LED alarm indicators alert users to hazardous conditions. The innovative backlit display can be "flipped" 180° or "zoomed" at the push of a button.
A single on/off button is all it takes for normal day to day operation. A simple three button interface provides access to advanced setup options. Calibration adjustment is completely automatic; just attach the calibration adapter and apply gas. The instrument automatically makes adjustments and retains the three most recent calibration dates for each sensor. The motorized pump includes a built-in slideshutter switch that permits operation in either diffusion or sample-draw mode while the pump is attached. The easily attachable pump is powered by its own battery pack that provides 20 hours of continuous sampling from up to 100 feet away.
G460 detectors are available for use with a wide range of long-lasting, interchangeable smart-sensors for LEL. Infrared (NDIR) sensors for the direct measurement of CO2, and photoionization detectors (PID) for the measurement of volatile organic chemical (VOC) hazards are also available.

Single-gas detector with data-logger
The Micro IV single-gas detector is the successor to the proven Micro III. The key features of the Micro III are retained - smart, interchangeable sensor technology, low cost of ownership where 1 x AA battery lasts for up to 6 months in continuous use - but extra functionality is now added.
The Micro IV contains an integrated data-logger which records and time-stamps all events. This stored data can be transmitted to a PC via either the DI220 data interface station or DS220 docking station. Three alarm levels are available (most competing instruments only offer two) in addition to STEL and TWA alarms. The Micro IV has a very loud (95dB) sounder and high-visibility red LED alarms. Vibration alarm is also available as an option. A large display ensures that gas concentrations can be quickly and easily read by the user.
Gases available:
O2, H2S, CO, NO, NH3, HCN, HCl, SO2, H2, C2H4O, SiH4, PH3, THT, HF, COCl2, NO2, Cl2, O3, ClO2
Additional functionality of the MICRO IV
- Data-logging
- Infrared interface for data communication to Dockingstations
- Continuous storage of data without PC
- Continuous display of gas concentration
- Up to 6 months continuous operation with only one AA battery
- Simple bump check and calibration via the Dockingstation (option)
Inaccessible areas, like tanks and containers, can contain deadly gas mixtures. With the Micro IV, and attachable high-performance pump is available that can sample the gas from up to 30 metres away. The pump and tube is quick and easy to attach, and has its' own power supply which means the run time of the Micro IV instrument is not compromised.

Gas density controllers
These operate mechanically. The density of the sample gas is compared via a bellows system with the gas density in a reference gas chamber. If the density of the sample gas alters, the bellows system actuates one or more micro switches. Gas density controllers function independent of any power supply.
Trafag gas density controllers are employed internationally in gas-insulated, high-voltage switchgear in power distribution networks. Their performance record is worldwide is unique. Even at climate-related temperature fluctuations of over 135°C, they provide precise measurement results and function reliably and maintenance-free. They are therefore to be found all around the world, in the ice-cold polar regions or under the blazing desert sun.
Gas density sensors
function electronically. The consistent resonant frequency of a quartz oscillator under vacuum is compared with the resonant frequency of an identical quartz situated in the sample gas. The difference in the resonant frequency is proportional to the density of the sample gas. This difference is processed into a digital or analogue output signal.

Many thousands of OXITEC® oxygen measuring systems are in operation throughout the world, providing customers with reliable, accurate measurements that guarantee easy and safe control of combustion processes. The OXITEC® analysing systems are the consistent advancement of the InSitu oxygen measuring technique on zircon oxide basis. Only the special gold brazing technique developed by ENOTEC guarantees a durably gas tight measuring cell and makes a regular calibration of the probe redundant.
Probe material and design make a problem-free use of the OXITEC® analysing systems for many years possible, also under harsh conditions, and apart from the explosion-proof execution (probe and electronics) also specially designed models for almost all conceivable applications are available. By the InSitu measurement (measurement directly in the flue gas, without extraction) the OXITEC® oxygen analysing system is maintenance-free, and also concerning the reaction rate OXITEC® is clearly superior to each extractive measurement.
The simple operation of the electronics and the interactive operator guidance make the handling of the SME5 evaluation electronics a child's play.
OXITEC® oxygen analysing systems are available in explosion proofed version (ATEX, CENELEC), too. As the only manufacturer in the world ENOTEC has an ATEX certificated dust explosion proofed probe available.
