The AreaRAE Steel is housed in a welded stainless-steel enclosure, it is rugged, portable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for harsh environments. The photoionization detector (PID) in the AreaRAE Steel can measure parts per million of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
