This continuous-rated 30-kW model for platform or onshore oil & gas applications accepts unprocessed flare or economic site gas with up to 70,000ppm sour H2S content. This model is UL-Certified to the Class I, Division 2 / NFPA 496 requirement for placement in areas where explosive gases may be present. A stainless steel version for non-hazardous areas is also available.
Without any exhaust treatment, C30 emissions are much lower than flaring. ISO 9001:2000 certified Capstone Turbine is the world's leading microturbine manufacturer, with more than 3,000 systems worldwide. The installed fleet has amassed more than 8 million hours of documented operation.
Capstone invented microturbines and is the world’s only USA incorporated, USA owned and operated manufacturer.
These inverter-based systems have just one moving part: a turbine shaft supported by patented air bearings. The system has no pumps and needs no radiator, gearbox or other mechanical subsystems. Needs no lubricants, coolants or other hazardous fluids. UL1741, CA Rule 21 and NY PSC interconnect precertified, UL2200, etc.
Scalable from kilowatts to >1 MW without any paralleling switchgear or other external hardware (built-in arraying via computer cables).

The new GUASCOR SFGLD series stand out for their toughness and high performance under the hardest working conditions. GUASCOR has applied new very resistant materials in the construction of the SFGLD engines.
On GUASCOR SFGLD engines, load carburation, speed and load are electronically self controlled, so they can operate at constant and limited emissions in spite of variation. The engine adapts to different qualities of gas wich even allows to switch from natural gas to biogas with no stops. A computerised module provides readouts of the spark plugs condition or allows ignition advance to be adjusted through external signals. GUASCOR engines may be fitted with GUASCOR engines can be equipped with a detonation detection and control system. This enables the engine to work under the severest working conditions while avoiding the effects of persistent detonation.
