DICTATOR high-performance push-type gas springs with additional locking
raise objects, hold them in any position desired, and then release them again.
The locking push-type gas springs are available in two types of locking. With cushioned locking the piston rod gives a little in the locked position so the object can recoil. These are easier to manufacture technically and are
therefore the cheaper variety. If the object needs to remain in a fixed
position e.g. hospital beds that tilt, then gas springs with rigid locking must be used.
The locking is released by a pin atthe front of the piston rod.
Dictator furnishes different releasing devices.
Other than the hospital bed shown in the
Locking push-type gas springs are used e.g. in aeroplane seats, drawing boards, hospital beds etc.
DICTATOR locking push-type gas springs can also be supplied with numerous additional´options such as a valve, biological oil, protective tube and oil chamber.

Kaller Controllable Gas Springs (Patended product) are a family of gas springs, for use in press tools, that can be locked in their bottom position and where the return stroke of the spring can be controlled.
Kaller controllable springs (KF-springs) are a family of gas springs, for use in press tools, that can be locked in their bottom position where the return stroke of the spring can be controlled.
The KF springs can be used where, for instance, the blank holder should be locked in its bottom position to avoid deformation of the formed part or when it's beneficial for the transportation of the part.
The controllable springs are available as 15 kN, 30 kN, 50 kN, 75 kN springs with stroke length from 10 to 160 mm. As the stroke length always has to be fully utilised, the springs can be ordered with any stroke length between 10 and 160 mm (in incremental steps of 1 mm).
For optimal function the full stroke should be used within ± 0,5 mm.
The return stroke of the springs is normally controlled using the control system of the press. The springs can be installed self-contained or connected to a control unit through a hose system. The recommendation is to connect them to a control unit. The basic version of the springs, called KF, will have a small spring back of 1 mm before it comes to a complete stop.

Econoloc Gas Springs eliminate the need for separate safety rods in critical lift-assist applications. They positively lock when fully extended, protecting the operator from potential injury in the unlikely event of Gas Spring failure through overload or misuse.
Simple to use, the lockable gas spring operates automatically. When the Gas Spring is fully extended a spring loaded locking shroud moves into place, preventing the Gas Spring from compressing. The Econoloc gas spring is manually released by applying thumb pressure to the designated area of the locking shroud, allowing the Gas Spring to compress in a controlled manner.
The locking shroud is finished with the same epoxy coating as the Gas Spring body, providing excellent corrosion resistance and an attractive appearance. A guide inside the shroud prevents scratching of the Gas Spring cylinder.
Econoloc Gas Springs combine superior ArvinMeritor quality with the added safety feature required in many heavy duty applications, such as trucks, construction machinery, switch gear and agricultural equipment. A single Econoloc Gas spring can be used in conjunction with a standard ArvinMeritor Swift & Sure Gas Spring.

The ACE gas spring range includes push type and pull type (traction) gas springs all designed for the industrial environment.
ACE industrial gas springs are maintenance- free and self-contained. They are available with body diameters from 8 mm up to 70 mm, and forces from 10 N up to 13 000 N ex. stock. ACE gas springs offer a high service life with a hard ceramic coating on the piston rod. Also an integrated low friction bearing with grease chamber which provides a very low break away force (GS-15 to GS-40). It allows them to be mounted in any orientation, although rod downwards is preferable if you want to take advantage of the built-in end position damping. The valve allows the force to be adjusted to your specific requirements. A wide variety of interchangeable nd fittings makes installation easy and versatile. ACE gas springs are universally applicable wherever you have lifting and lowering. They remove the need for “muscle power” and provide controlled motion for lids, hoods, machine guards etc. The ACE selection software quickly specifies the correct gas spring for your individual application and we can deliver, usually within 24 hours. ACE traction gas springs work in pull direction and are available with body diameters of 19 mm and 28 mm.

DICTATOR Pull-type gas springs are the answer to your problems if you
are unable to use normal push-type gas springs due to a lack of space. They work in the opposite way to push-type gas springs as the gas pressure inside the cylinder causes the piston rod to retract inwards.
Depending on how they are installed, pull-type gas springs either open or close flaps, windows and hatchways.
In the same way as with push-type gas springs, we manufacture your pull-type gas springs
- according to your individual application requirements
- also as a single unit, in small or large batches.
We offer a design service, that means, you send us the information on your application and we calculate the required gasspring.

Functions:
AdjustHold gas springs are hydropneumatic devices help us to lift, lower, adjust, move, counterbalance the weights easily or without any effort.
It consists of chrome or nitrocarburized steel piston rod, oil and pressurized (max.) nitrogen gas sealed in the steel cylinder and a gas release valve at the end ofthe cylinder to adjust the required pressure for a specific application.
Internal gas pressure increases as piston rod moves into the cylinder (compression). This internal pressure has an actuating effect on the cross sectional area of the piston rod.
This pressure on the sectional area of the piston rod forces the piston rod to move out of the cylinder (extension).
Piston rod extension dampens on a specified point according to the quantity of oil filled in. On the other hand oil lubricates the piston and sealing set to work smoothly for many years
Advantages:
- Pressure adjustment by releasing the gas through the release valve at the end of the cylinder.
- Easy and smooth lifting, lowering, moving, adjusting.
- Hydraulic or dynamic damping in the end of its movement.
- Wide application possibilites due to wide range of end fittings.
- Maintenance free. No need for greasing or lubrication.
