Design Features: DeZURIK Cast Knife Gate Valves (KGC) are designed for on-off and throttling applications. They feature a cast body in 304, 316 or 317 stainless steel. The gate material is 304, 316 or 317 stainless steel. The packing gland is stainless steel for corrosion protection or coated carbon steel for non-corrosive service. The stem is stainless steel. Used in control loops with neutral and aggressive media in chemical and process industries. Exact control of the valve opening is assured by positioners (pneumatic or electropneumatic). As a standard the valve is equipped with an integrated top-mounted positioner.

Integral-passage slide valves are suitable for all those uses where perfect tightness has to be assured both to material (VLPM/ VLPC/VLPP) and pressure (VLRM/VLRC/VLRP) even in the presence of high temperature and with abrasive products.
They are used for powders and granules under silos, hoppers, batchers and screw conveyors.
Anyhow our technical service is at your complete disposal to meet any requirement.
- Valves are suitable for tightening between counterflanges UNI-PN 10 or ANSI 150 lb.
- Interior tightness is assured by a toroidal gasket acting on the blade in closed position ((VLRM/VLRC/VLRP).
- Tightness towards the outside is assured by an adjustable packing gland system.
- The manual valve control is achieved by a handwheel (VLPM/VLRM) and by a pulley with chain (VLPC/VLRC)
- The electropneumatic valve control is achieved by a double-effect cylinder activated by 1/4" Gas 5/2 single solenoid valve.
- Two proximity inductive limit-switches ø 18 are used to remote-indicate the blade position.
- Electropneumatic slide valves in special execution may be supplied with 3 positions for course / fine batching on balances.
- Electropneumatic slide valves are designed and manufactured in compliance with Community Regulations 89/392/EEC. |
