Pump series BT and BTH are low speed gear pumps for
transfering medium and high viscosity fluids, provided they
have certain minimum amount of lubricating property, do
not contain any solids and are chemically compatable with
the materials of construction.
The standard material of construction for housing, bearing
cover and stuffing box cover is grey cast iron. The shafts
and gears are manufactured from case hardening steel, hardened
and ground. The shafts are carried in plain bearings
manufactured in bronze, with an option of sintered iron.
The rotary shaft seal is a packed gland consisting of PTFE
fillied Aramid yarn, and the static sealing between mating
parts is by means of either, liquid sealant or gaskets. All
sealing materials are asbestos free.
External axial loads are not permissable, restricted radial
loads can be absorbed, dependant on their magnetude and
direction.
Driving by flexible shaft coupling is preferred.
In the case of fluids which require elevated temperatures to
flow i. e. bitumen, wax etc. the BTH series pump should be
used. In this model the housing is double walled to provide
a heating jacked. The pump transfer chamber is heated by
circulating heat transfer fluid or steam through the jacket.

KF gear pumps are used for pumping a wide variety of fluids.
KF gear pumps are distinguished especially by their
wide range of variants which are assembled as required
on the modular principle and also permit subsequent
upgrade.
The pumps are also suitable for media with low lubricating
properties.
The standard housing sections are of grey cast iron.
The gear units are manufactured from high-strength
case-hardening steel, hardened and mounted in special
multi-compound plain bearing bushes.
The standard drive shaft is sealed by rotary shaft lip-type
seal.
All pump sizes incorporate helical tooth system.
This feature, combined with special gear geometry,
results in extremely low noise levels and reduced
pressure pulsation.

High Pressure Gear Pumps
Lynch gear pumps are available in six different groups (0.25, 0.5, 1P, 1, 2 and 3). Different pump displacements within each group, ranging between 0.011 cu. in./rev and 5.310 cu. in./rev, can be obtained by changing the thickness of the gear tooth band. Within the same group, different flanges, shafts, inlet and pressure ports are available.
The following items are also available:
- pumps with integrated maximum pressure valve;
- hi-pressure pumps
- bi-rotational pumps
- hydraulic motors (both unidirectional and bi-directional)
- modular multiple pumps.

Conventional sealing gaskets are pushed to their limits with
different applications. Typical applications are found in
polyurethane facilities, refrigerating machines and vacuum
facilities. For these applications, you have the possibility
to equip the KF 4…80 with a magnetic coupling.
The magnetic coupling serves as a shaft seal and for the
transmission of the torque. The outer rotor of the magnetic
coupling is assembled on the engine shaft and the inner
rotor is assembled directly on the pumping shaft. The
torque is transmitted through the magnetic forces between
the outer and inner rotor. Between the two rotors, you
have the split case which hermetically seals the pump.

Gear pumps of the TF series are particularly suitable for pumping all media which guarantee a minimum lubricity but do not contain any solids. The sense of rotation in TF pumps is normally clockwise as seen from the pump shaft. Upon request the pumps can be supplied with counter-clockwise rotation or with clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation with alternating direction of delivery flow. The nominal bores of suction and pressure ports are optimally dimensioned in order to limit the oil speeds to about 5 m/s max. at the standard rotational speed.

External gear units are classic hydraulic units and come in the form of pumps and motors. Individual pumps, multiple pumps and lownoise SILENCE versions in seven different series open up a virtually unlimited range of possible uses.

Type T Pump
With the series type T we offer a program with several variants and constructions for the transport of almost all pumpable media.
It can be used up to maximum rotational speeds of 1500 rpm at pressures up to 16 bar. The rotational speed is basically determined by the viscosity or lubricity of the pumped medium.
At viscosities in excess of 10000 mm²/s the medium to be pumped should flow to the pump. In case of suction heights of more than 7 m LC and admission pressures in excess of 2 bar please contact our engineering department as larger piping cross sections will be required!
The pumps are driven by electric motors, backgeared motors, belt drives adjustable gear motors, or similar.
All pumps can operate with clockwise or counter-clockwise sense of rotation.
- pulsation-free pumping delivery
- independent of sense of rotation
- sturdy construction
- easy mounting
- wide selection of materials
- several sealing variants
- for packings with suction bore
