TopGear MAG - Protecting your future
TopGear MAG is a range of leak-proof internal gear pumps for low and high viscous liquids which are corrosive, toxic, aggressive or expensive.
Total containment of the liquid inside the pump is achieved using a hermetically sealed can, which isolates the liquid from the surrounding environment. This eliminates the need for shaft seals and the associated wear and leakage that would normally be experienced. The Magnetic Drive pumps are therefore not only environmentally friendly – they also contribute to improved safety in chemical and process plant environments.
Complying amongst others with the “ATEX” (ATmospheres EXplosibles) directive, magnetic drive pumps make an important contribution to health and safety on process plants.
TopGear MAG provides environmental, human, legal and economical protection -

The Universal Mag Drive is the ideal sealing technology for critical liquid containment applications within Viking’s Universal Seal product line. It is dimensionally interchangeable with Viking's Heavy Duty bracketed and Universal Seal pumps, allowing for easy upgrade from packed or mechanical seals to sealless technology. The Universal Mag Drive’s hermetic, static sealed canister provides the highest level of liquid containment available by eliminating traditional dynamic shaft seals. It also eliminates housekeeping issues and downtime due to seal failure. This product is designed to handle a broad range of applications requiring continuous duty at pressures up to 200 PSI (14 Bar).

Viking Mag Drive® sealless internal and external gear pumps eliminate leakage and maintenance associated with shaft seals. For use with all hazardous/toxic fluids, hard-to-seal liquids and for 24/7 operations which cannot afford unscheduled downtime due to seal failure. Some models allow reversible direction of flow, and temporary run-dry capability. May be close-coupled to IEC or NEMA motors, or long-coupled with optional bearing carrier. ATEX conformity available.

The CMD series is a groundbreaking new series of sealless, non-metallic pumps specially designed for crucial liquid containment applications. This series offers several important benefits, including: 100% renewable performance with use of Viking’s recommended spare parts kit; an innovative magnet system with a patent-pending spline design that allows the magnet to self-align while floating on the shaft with no added fasteners; self-lubricating, heavy-duty bearings with patent-bearing geometry that allow dry-run capabilities; and, a unique, universal flange that allows for easy installation for both ANSI and DIN flanged systems, among other key benefits. In addition, the CMD series offers extreme flexibility, including an array of models with port sizes ranging from .25” to 1.5” (6.35 to 38.1 mm), a performance level of 100 SSU (22 cSt), normal capacity at 1450 RPM ranging from 0.34 to 16.5 GPM (1.3 to 62.5 LPM), normal capacity at 1750 RPM ranging from 0.4 to 20.0 GPM (1.5 to 75.0 LPM), a maximum differential pressure of 150 PSI (10 Bar), a maximum hydrostatic pressure of 200 PSI (14 Bar), approximate shipping weights ranging from 4 to 44 pounds (2 to 20 kg), and a maximum recommended operating temperature of 150°F (65°C).

Conventional sealing gaskets are pushed to their limits with
different applications. Typical applications are found in
polyurethane facilities, refrigerating machines and vacuum
facilities. For these applications, you have the possibility
to equip the KF 4…80 with a magnetic coupling.
The magnetic coupling serves as a shaft seal and for the
transmission of the torque. The outer rotor of the magnetic
coupling is assembled on the engine shaft and the inner
rotor is assembled directly on the pumping shaft. The
torque is transmitted through the magnetic forces between
the outer and inner rotor. Between the two rotors, you
have the split case which hermetically seals the pump.

High gradient magnetic separators for capturing fine ferrous and paramagnetic particles in liquids and slurries
Main applications include ceramics and minerals processing industries to purify raw materials, such as ceramic bodies, silica and feldspathic sands and to upgrade quality of final product (purer, cleaner and whiter product)
Proven in practice to offer 30% greater separation performance than traditional WHIMS systems.
|
|
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
EFS
Standard size housings available with 30 (590), 60 (250), 100 (149), and 150 (99) mesh (micron) reusable, stainless steel filter cartridges. Units measure 11.25" long and feature a 1" NPT intake and dual 1" NPT discharge ports (3/4" reducers provided).
FEATURES
Graymills Superflo filters are designed to overcome the typical pressure drop and reduced flow due to clogging that occurs with ordinary filters. A permanent magnet suspended over the intake port traps ferrous particles which find their way into the fluid, and diffuses the flow outward into the filter screen flutes. Filtered material is trapped on the inside of the removable/reusable stainless steel filter cartridge. To clean, just remove the cartridge. All the contaminants come out with it. Self draining. No wasted fluid or messy leftovers to deal with. Stainless steel filter cartridges are available in four different mesh screens.
|
|
As pre-cleaners or main cleaners for subordinate applications and magnetisable chips, magnetic filters offer a good and reasonably priced filtration method.
Turbo Separator AG produces magnetic filters with flow rates of 100 - 400l/min.
Depending on the application area, these magnetic filters can also be built up in cascades.
Magnetic filters from Turbo-Separator can be installed as integrated components of a system or built on as accessory products.
Special requirements call for special solutions - we shall implement your wishes, with unconventional solutions if need be! (SE magnets)
