Gear pumps are used in all types of manufacturing industries for the transportation of both thin and thick liquids, from choccolate to diesel fuel. Our gear pumps have sturdy design, offering high reliability as well as long life.
Johnson Pump's gear pump design is based on an internal idler gear rotating inside of a larger rotor. Internal gear pumps are robust, give an even flow, handle both low and high viscosity products, are capable of high pressure and are self-priming.
Johnson Pump manufactures the TopGear-series of internal gear pumps; with the TG L-range for low viscosity - high volumetric efficiency, TG G-range for general purpose and the TG H-range for high demanding applications.

Rotary Lobe Pumps - TopLobe and TopWing
The original design of the rotary lobe pump goes back to the early 40’s and has since then been further developed and improved. Johnson Pump has long experience in rotary lobe pumps. Market knowledge and appreciation of customer needs have been used to improve the existing rotary lobe pump concept with new features and customer benefits.
Rotary lobe pumps are easy to clean and have gentle product handling characteristics. They contain few cavities, which reduces the risk of bacterial growth and makes them particularly suitable for the transport of sensitive fluids – from glue to whole strawberries.

TopGear MAG - Protecting your future
TopGear MAG is a range of leak-proof internal gear pumps for low and high viscous liquids which are corrosive, toxic, aggressive or expensive.
Total containment of the liquid inside the pump is achieved using a hermetically sealed can, which isolates the liquid from the surrounding environment. This eliminates the need for shaft seals and the associated wear and leakage that would normally be experienced. The Magnetic Drive pumps are therefore not only environmentally friendly – they also contribute to improved safety in chemical and process plant environments.
Complying amongst others with the “ATEX” (ATmospheres EXplosibles) directive, magnetic drive pumps make an important contribution to health and safety on process plants.
TopGear MAG provides environmental, human, legal and economical protection -

Designed for "on-line" continuous shearing and mixing action. A choice of modularly interchangeable stators and rotors make it versatile for processing a wide variety of products. Variable speed drives may also be used to further adjust the shear and mixing affect. Texturizes to give a smooth body and texture to such products as ricotta cheese and food pastes. Emulsifies to make stable emulsions of products with both oil and water base ingredients; blends to provide continuous, on-line blending without air incorporation or lumps of dry product; reconstitutes to assist reconstitution of powdered products such as milk powders; suspends/disperses to give stable solids in liquid suspension; polishes to improve the appearance of products by providing a smoother and more uniform surface texture.
