Baldor AC Gearmotors are available in a wide variety of torques ranging from 15 to 627 in-lbs in both right angle and parallel shaft designs with industry standard mounting configurations. The Right Angle single reduction units feature an Internal Expansion Bladder and Mobil® SHC634 Synthetic oil for long maintenance free operation. The Internal Expansion Bladder keeps the lubrication free of contaminates by eliminating the need to vent the gearbox and allows all position mounting. This feature is exclusive to Baldor.

UNIDRIVE SP Series : 0.75 to 132 kW
DIGISTART is a multi-function electronic system with a microcontroller and thyristors, designed for use with all 3-phase squirrel cage induction motors.
UNIDRIVE SP is, in standard form, an a.c. drive designed to supply either, asynchronous drives, with or without encoder or asynchronous (brushless) drives. Through parameter settings UNIDRIVE SP can be configured in different functioning modes as follows :
- Flux vector contol without feed back Due to its calculative power, the drive controls separately the magnetising current and the active current of a standard asynchronous drive. The speed and the rotor position are calculated in order to control the torque and the speed of the drive.
- Flux vector control with feed-back Using this mode on a standard asynchronous drive allows more precise management of torque and speed of the drive through a higher speed range (including zerol speed) with greater dynamic performance.
- Operation of an autosynchronous motor Using this mode with an autosynchronous motor (motor with permanent magnets on the rotor) and equipped with an incremental encoder, SSI, SinCos, EnDat or with a resolver allows very high dynamic performance e.g. for driving shafts.
