Schneider Electric Motion 3-phase stepper motors are extremely robust and maintenance-free. They carry out precise, incremental movements as controlled by a stepper motor drive. A stepper motor drive system consists of a stepper motor and a matching stepper motor drive. Maximum performance of the complete drive system requires the motor and the drive to be perfectly adapted to each other. Depending on the stepper motor drive, the motors can be operated at very high resolutions.
A complete range of options such as rotation monitoring and holding brake as well as robust planetary gearboxes with very little backlash extends the application range.
Schneider Electric Motion 3-phase stepper motors are available in standard and Ex versions (EEx d IIC T4). |

The High Torque Housed Hybrid.
Portescap's newest hybrid motor family member, the h3 runs quieter and with less resonance across the entire speed range, assisting to counter the disadvantages typical in step motor systems. By raising the output performance of the step motor system while reducing the perceived disadvantages, Portescap has maintained the place of step motor systems in the motion control world.
Larger bearings enable the motor to effectively handle higher side and radial loads
The full maximization of performance is realized with the enhanced version of the h3 stepper, which delivers up to 40% more torque than the standard version
Neodymium Iron Boron Magnets - Deliver Optimized Torque Density
Aluminum Housing - Superior heat dissipation for improved torque output (Patent Pending)
Retainer and O-Ring - prevent bearing spinout and minimize motor noise |
