Deburring tools for chain sprockets
Chain sprocket deburring tools
Developed exclusively to deburr chain sprockets, the specially adapted form of our SPR 1000 deburring tool has exactly the same profile as the flank radius of the gear tooth and therefore prevents the formation of burrs on the lateral surfaces of your gear teeth.
Chain sprocket rolling tools
The form of our chain sprocket rolling tools is again identical to that of the gear tooth profile. The special tapered form of the tool tooth prevents the build-up of material along the gear tooth profile. Material which is built up during the simultaneous deburring operation is pushed back in the direction of the deburring tool, where it is then removed.
These tools are ideal for use on Samputensili chamfering machines with motorised tool heads, but they can also be used on any standard chamfering machine without difficulty as a pair of drive gears is used to vary the rotation speed of the tools in relation to that of the workpiece.

S 250 CDA
The S 250 CDA is ideal for chamfering and deburring cylindrical spur and bevel gears in a single operation before heat treatment. Moreover, cylindrical spur and bevel gears can also be simultaneously chamfered, rolled and deburred using special, patented Samputensili tools. Machining special profile gears (such as gears with connecting radii or inclined faces) is made simple with specially designed tools by Samputensili. This machine is suitable for medium to large batch production and, with integrated automation, it can reach particularly high rates of productivity. The S 250 CDA comes equipped with either a swing-arm or gantry loader.
The swing-arm loader excels for its simple design, comprising a swivelling arm and double collet. The pick-and-place system makes it easy to integrate this machine on an existing production line. Different workpiece types can be horizontally or vertically picked up and set down. In general additional automation is not required, and the machine is designed for connection to an automated workpiece conveyor system.
An optional gantry loader is also available which is best integrated on an existing production line. A pick-and-place arm travels across a gantry guideway, and picks workpieces up straight from the hobbing machine and deposits them, ready for the next phase, after the chamfering and deburring operation.

S 200 CDM
The S 200 CDM is a combined hobbing-chamfering/deburring machine, where a CDM chamfering/deburring module is combined with an S 200 hobbing machine from the S 150 – 400 series by means of an integrated gantry loader to bring you a total process solution, fully integrated in terms of operator software too. The user may programme any combination of processes from hobbing without deburring, combined hobbing/chamfering/deburring to even workpiece deburring and all processes are single-drive and user-friendly, making for flexible mass production of the very best quality. The CDM is not available as a standalone solution. In this case we recommend the S 250 CDA, which can be linked to an existing line.
The S 200 hobbing machine takes advantage of the most modern drive technology available, meaning that future innovations in terms of in-house tool development can always be fully exploited.

Deburring Brushes
Specially developed wheel brushes for deburring. These are suitable for all common deburring machines. Although they are heavier than other brushes because of their dense filling, we exclude any inbalance by evenly arranged filling material and the testing of every brush. Filled with high-quality wire, these brushes have a longer service life. All brushes are with double keyway. Please indicate the required bore.
Deburring End Brushes
These brushes are perfect for deburring tubes, profiles or even plane surfaces. Deburring end brushes are used in a set of 8, 16 or 24 single end brushes integrated in one deburring device. The metal bush fits all standard collets. |

Innovative concept:

You've heard the saying "deburring is a tedious job..." ‑ why not automate it?
Fastems' DBL (Deburring and Loading Cell) is a modular robot cell designed for deburring and automatic loading applications. Deburring, which often is a dusty, noisy, unconfortable and repetitive task becomes a thing of the past. And simultaneously, the deburring quality, which often varies significantly with manual deburring, can be consistant and easily maintained at the required level. The DBL can be used as a stand-alone unit or it can be integrated with a flexible manufacturing system (FMS).

All fixtures are designed and built exclusively on our premises. Every fixture is exhaustively adapted to the contours and edges to be deburred. All components for the fixtures are produced on CNC machine tools and fitted by our experienced toolmakers. The fixtures are then tested in our works and optimized until you and we are fully satisfied with the result. |
