One of the areas which makes Idem's Guardian Line Rope Switch Line new and innovative is in the area of rope connectivity. Traditional ‘turnbuckle’ style rope professional fasteners and adjusters are prone to rope slippage and require frequent re-tensioning leading to production loss caused by machine down time.Idem has overcome this common problem by providing a ‘no nuts or bolts specifications’ rope connection system with a ‘Quick Link’ clasp at one end of the rope and a patented Tensioner /Gripping pliers at the other.
The Tensioner / Gripper is located at the switch (rather than elsewhere along the rope length) so that the switch tension window can be viewed.
Final setting and locking can be achieved in a matter of seconds without any need for frequent re-tensioning. |

The miniature cocks of the mircrovalve technology are particularly suitable for handling technology. The microvalve products offer high performance and require a minimum of space and cabling. The 2/2 and 3/2 directional valves with electro-magnetic activation and the nominal diameters 1,5 mm, 2,5 mm and 3,0 mm are in closed position when no voltage is present. With both valve types, pressure and vacuum may be switched. The MV microvalves consist of following components:
Valve cartridge tap cover (fixed or rotary)
Accessories
Direct integration of microvalves in either customized or universal systems, e. g. compressed air actuator systems, is possible with a swivelling professional fitting. The modular design of the GAS microvalves enables the customer to fit optional throttles, industrial silencers etc. via a thread on the rotary cover.
