GE's SNMP client/agent structure, either via direct link or modem connection, enables a network manager or facilities engineer to permanently monitor and control all GE UPS and the equipment they protect - either locally or remotely.
On every local computer display, Network Management System or across the internet the user can see a real-time graphic display indicating all critical UPS parameters, environmental information, statistical data and event log files. This data is available for localized and multiple decentralized UPS. The UPS status changes can be communicated to the user in various ways - via SMS, Network Management System, email or fax. |
