The SSM heater plate can be used for frost protection and as an anti-condensation heater. Its application ensures complete operational safety as the plates prevent malfunctions often due to leakage currents on electrical installations or the corrosion of metal components. Typical applications are switchgear and controlgear cabinets, instrument housings, analyser cases, glove boxes and other enclosures.
Structure
The heater plate consists of a thin, anodised aluminium baseplate, vulcanised with siliconeimpregnated glass-fibre mats with an embedded heating coil. A bimetallic switch integrated in the terminal block limits the surface temperature of the heater approx. +70 °C. An alternative version is available for adjusting the surface temperature from +30 °C up to +150 °C.

Construction
Silicon Heating Panels comprises of resistance wire-wound heating elements embedded in thin, lightweight fiber glass cloth - Silicon rubber composite substrates, forming a very flexible and high strength heating panel. For convenience of installation, pressure-sensitive adhesive backing are provided on one side of the heating panel. For minimum heat losses these should be backed by thermal insulation pads.

hotspring® spike-system a clamping mechanism of a special class.
For numerous applications – e.g. in the PET-processing industry, the hotspring® spike-system offers many innovative advantages: The low wall thickness of the clamping tube of only 2 mm, the fixing by easy sliding and turning on the nozzle as well as the front assembly and disassembly are arguments which save costs and time by this easy handling. Furthermore the „hotspring® spike-system“ guarantees optimal thermal features of the fixed hotspring® -coil heater (type WRP).
The principle of the „hotspring® spike-system“- consists of a reflection tube which by simple twisting along the total length can be adjusted to the tool to be heated. By this ideal adjustment to the tool an optimal heat transfer can be ensured, the maximal sheath surface load increases to 10W/cm², makes the by-pass of tool diameter tolerances of several 1/10 mm possible and guarantees a strong fit which does not need additional fixing.
The „hotspring® spike-system“ covers a wide range of requirements of small designs with a minimum tool diameter of 10 mm and a minimum length of the clamping element of 40 mm. Furthermore this system can be used for clamping hotspring-heating elements with larger dimensions.

Heatflon® Serie PH 1 - 9
Heatflon® heaters of the PH series consist of a stainless steel tubular radiator sheated in PFA. The head of the heater is made of PTFE and the connecting cable of PFA. Heating zone, head and connecting cable are welded together watertightly as a result a complete immersion in aggresive media is possible.
All devices of the PH series are earthed and approved by association of German engieers (VDE).
As an optional extra, all heaters can also be pre-equipped for a thermal monitoring. Users who purchase a special controller are then able to monitor the internal temperature between the stainless steel heater and the PFA tube, thereby reducing substantially the risk of fire. Heatflon® tubular radiators of the PH series are available for various surface loads, eg:

The main purpose of pipe tracing is to avoid and compensate for the loss of heat certain fluids undergo during particular production processes.
Of utmost importance is that the fluid or product flowing in the pipes does not freeze, change viscosity, or harm the piping network.
For sanitary hot water systems, our pipe tracing system avoids the cooling of the water, especially when it is not moving, avoiding the spread of Legionnaire disease.

For pipe tracing projects we recommend constant power parallel heating cable, model CTCS.
The parallel heating cable has a constant lineal wattage even when it is cut to required length.

This mineral-insulated heating cable with a braiding of high grade stell 14541 is applicable within extreme corrosive and damp surroundings. The HIL heating cable is extremely robust and easy to bend. The stainless stell brainding is waterlight, oiltight and gastight. An utilisation temperature of up to 800°C enables a variety of applications. The cold end of the heating cable can be fed into a terminal box and connected by means of a MX20X1.5 screwed connection.

The tubular sheathed element is a quasi universal solution used for the heating of solids, liquids or gaz via JOULE EFFECT up to about 800°C.
