Heatflon Serie PH 1 - 9
Heatflon heaters of the PH series consist of a stainless steel tubular radiator sheated in PFA. The head of the heater is made of PTFE and the connecting cable of PFA. Heating zone, head and connecting cable are welded together watertightly as a result a complete immersion in aggresive media is possible.
All devices of the PH series are earthed and approved by association of German engieers (VDE).
As an optional extra, all heaters can also be pre-equipped for a thermal monitoring. Users who purchase a special controller are then able to monitor the internal temperature between the stainless steel heater and the PFA tube, thereby reducing substantially the risk of fire. Heatflon tubular radiators of the PH series are available for various surface loads, eg:
2,2 W/cm - 1,5 W/cm - 1,0 W/cm, applicable dependent on the specific media. |
|
Electric immersion heaters are especially suitable for heating fluids via natural or forced convection. They are mainly used for water heaters, heating tanks and for fluid circulation heaters.
Depending on the application, they exist in different materials.
Their layout of heating elements allows an optimum heat exchange. |

Watlow, a leading designer and manufacturer of heaters, controllers and temperature sensors, has added a miniature version cartridge heater to its existing line of FIREROD cartridge heaters. The new 1/8-inch FIREROD cartridge heater features a unique swaged design, which maximizes heat transfer and allows for quicker response time. Additionally, its helically wound resistance wire produces higher watt densities and contributes to longer service life in space-restricted applications.

Thermofoil heaters are thin, flexible heating elements consisting of an etched foil resistive element laminated between layers of flexible insulation. Since their introduction by Minco over 45 years ago, Flexible Thermofoil heaters have demonstrated significant advantages over conventional electric heaters.
Precise Heating :
Thermofoil heaters put heat where you need it. You simply apply them to the surface of the part to be heated. Their thin and Flexible profile gives close thermal coupling between the heater and heat sink. You can even specify profiled heat patterns with higher watt densities in areas where heat loss is greater.
|
|
The multicell heater from Watlow offers independent zone control for precise temperature uniformity, loose fit design for easy insertion in and removal from the equipment and extreme process temperature capability. The heaters are available with up to eight independently controllable zones and one to three internal thermowells for removable sensors. Custom assemblies are available.

Super plastic forming and diffusion bonding
Hot forging dies
Heated platens
Furnaces applications
Superheating of air and other gases
Fluidized beds for heat treating

Heatflon Series H
Heating Panels made from PTFE
Heatflon heating panels have primarily been developed for heating aggressive liquids by means of an electrical heating process as applied in electroplating, semi-conductor and laboratory technology and chemical engineering. Their flat design makes them comparatively space-saving.
Areas of application :
The use of the fluoroplastic PTFE for all components having contact with the electrlytes provides the heating panel with an outstanding chemical resistancem, rendering it suitable for use in virtually all electroplating baths .
The excellent anti-adhesive properties of the fluoroplastic PTFE largely eliminate deposits and render cleaning very simple. |

Pressure clamp connectors
Dynamic heating up
Wide voltage range
Temperature limiting
Energy saving
Clip fixing
Quick installation
These heaters are used in enclosures where damage from condensation must be prevented, or where the temperature may not fall below a minimum value. The aluminium profile heater body design has a chimney effect and distributes the heat evenly. The pressure clamp connectors save time and simplify installation.

Compact heater for the use in enclosures with electrical/electronical components. The design of the heater supports the natural convection which results in a high air-current of warm air.
The surface temperatures on the accessible side surfaces of the housing are kept down as a result of the heater design.
Our complete range of thermostats and hygrostats can directly be connected to the heater CS 060.
This heater is also available in a version with plug-in thermostat requiring no additional wiring (CSF 060).
Both versions are designed for permanent operation. |

The Caloritech™ C Cartidge Heater represents the highest commercial grade of heater available on the market today. They feature high grade nickel chromium resistance wire uniformly wound on a premium quality MgO core and welded to termination points; the core is then carefully centered in a compacted and MgO-filled high temperature 321 stainless steel casing, and stranded leads with silicon-impregnated mica glass insulation are fixed to the termination points.
These heaters offer a convenient and efficient means of heating metal dies, platens, molds, heat sealing tools, hot plates and more. Most units can also be fitted with threaded bushings for liquid heating applications. |
|
| A heater cartridge based on open wire proprieties ensures operational safety for the de-icing or thawing of condensed water in air treatment systems in trucks. |

Ribbed heating elements/Air duct heaters/Convectors
Ribbed resistance heaters are ideal for the convection-heating of air in stoves, industrial ovens, drying cabinets and facilities, air-conditioning equipment etc. Ribbed heaters are generally used to heat air or non corrosive gas by natural or forced convection.
The heating elements are made of Z6 CNT 18-10 stainless steel (ST. ST. AISI 321) tubes of diameters 8.5, 10, 13 and 16 mm. The sheaths are fitted without clearance with electrogralvanized steel ribs.
Air duct heater are equipped with pin or spiral formed sheathed heating elements mounted on a stainless steel or galvanized iron casing. They are used to heat circulating air.
Convectors perfectly meet industrial requirements. They can be equipped with regulation devices.Waterproof and ATEX certified products are available for power ranging from 250W to 6kW.
|
|
These are particularly suitable for heating and maintaining the temperature of large volumes or heating circulating fluids such as water, heavy fuel oil, thermal fluid, air or gas. They can be fitted on tanks, cisterns, boilers and circulation reheaters and are the best electrical heating system for a range of industries such as food processing, chemicals, textiles, plastics etc.
The stainless steel or incolloy armoured elements are generally hairpin-shaped and are welded to the DIN/ASA standardized flanges according to procedures which have CODAP, TV and ASME approval.
The watt density, ranging from 0.1 to 15 W/cm, is determined from the working parameters of the process and the exchange coefficients. For a maximum immersion length of 3300 mm, the power delivered by a flange immersion heater can reach several MW.
The electrical cabling in one or more paces gives access to several power steps. Connection blocks and rods are used to ensure the electrical connection.
Devices can be produced according to ATEX directives.

|
| Caloritech™ CXF Flange Heaters are used primarily for heating applications involving oils, gases and mildly corrosive liquids. They are constructed of incoloy sheathed elements silver brazed to a steel flange, similar to the CXI Flange Heater. However, the CXF model is lower density and more suitable for stagnant or heavy oils, or for high temperature, low flow gas heating. |
