3a drum heater is a flexible panel with two coated fabrics : an heating side and an insulated side.
3a drum-heater is supplied with eyelets which, laced with an elastic rubber, lets the barrel heater lie flat on the barrel, essential condition for a good heat exchange.
In comparison with heating belts which need several main supplies and do not wrap totally the barrel, 3a barrel heater totally wraps the cylindric part of the barrel, allows smooth and homogeneous warming and, thanks to the insulated face, is maintaining temperature in the barrel for hours after you switched it off.
A utility is accessible to determine the time of heating necessary for the application.

Heating sleeves to heat segments of 200 litre barrels per DIN. both the inner and the outer sheath of the barrel heating sleeve are made of aluminium sheet, which ensures maximum protection of the electrical components against mechanical damage. A hinge with campling closure that divides the heating surface into two semi shells permits convenient assembly, without the heating element needing to be bent. The barrel can be heated complete by using 3 sleeves.

The THERMOSAFE Induction Drum Heater has been proven world wide over more than 20 years as the fastest, most reliable and safest method of melting solids from steel drums, and for the speedy heating of viscous liquids.
It is certified to the ATEX and IECEx standards for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, and is IP66 rated, so can be used in wet areas (even hosed down whilst operational!) and other harsh environments.
The external surfaces are high grade glass reinforced resins able to resist chemicals and acids, so the heater can withstand accidental splashes of hot liquids. There are no moving parts and it is completely maintenance free, so its lifetime operating costs are incredibly low.
No contact with the steel drum is required, as heat is generated by the drum wall itself, so it is exceptionally energy efficient, saving over 50% compared to conventional radiant heaters, and even more compared to steam ovens.
These units can be used individually, for example in research labs or small batch blending plants, or in groups at point of use, as highly cost effective replacements for large drum ovens.

Insulated Flexible Heating jackets for containers and drums from 20 litres up to 1200 litres in size.
High grade insulation combined with a range of custom coated fabrics allow us to offer a performance specification from "winter warming" anti-freeze applications through to melting of solids from 200 litre drums.
Power ratings are suitable for both plastic and steel containers.
The jackets are easily fitted and removed using click-in buckles and straps, and can be handled safely even after use due to the outer insulation layers.
Standard adjustable dial thermostat ranges are upto 40 degrees C or upto 90 degrees C, with options upto 160 C and digital display of temperature.
Custom sizes can also be manufactured upon request.
Standard designs available for IBC's (Intermediate Bulk Containers) from most major manufacturers.

DRUM HEATERS - for 200 litre barrels.
Drum Heaters facilitate the handling of solidified or viscous materials like adhesives, waxes, tar, chemicals, oils etc. They eliminate cumbersome methods and high investments, associated with steam and oil or fire wood heating.
Construction
Drum Heaters consist of a cylindrical metal cover carrying the flexible heating elements. A 2" thick thermal lagging of glass wool provides insulation and the metal casing makes for a rugged unit that can be wrapped snugly around the drum. The Drum Heater is hinged, and is mounted on castors for convenience. A base heater, also encapsulated in metal provides bottom heating. Control Panel incorporating thermostatic control is provided with the heaters.

Drum washing plants are particularly suitable for the continuous and at random treatment of small and medium-sized pieces, such as screws, bolts and small metal pieces in general. The material is moved forward by the slow rotation (at variable speed) of a cylinder, which contains a spiral at preset pitch. During the advancement motion, parts undergo cycles of treatment. Spiral continuous and slow rotation allows the movement of the pieces and the consequent removal of grease or swarf and drying them perfectly. The loading operations can be either manual or automated through automatic loading devices.
Ceever realization of standard machines is put side by side with the production of special cochlea realized in base to the specific demands of the client, both as regards the cycles of treatment (phosphating, de-phosphating, phosphate-degreasing, etc.) and mechanical sizing and/or special applications for automation.
In order to optimize the treatment cycles, are available, on request, several OPTIONAL:
Metering device pump for detergent
Mud dredge and chip remover
Masks of spraying
Deoiling
Filtrations
Drying and/or blowing
Additional tank
Heating to low dissipation
Weekly clock
Safety vat
Jointed nozzles
PLC and Modem
Rinse water control
Remote controls
Automatic loaders
Bases with wheels
Fumes exhaust system
Automatic fill-up
Automatic topping

Mixed washing machines with drum
The washing plant with drum is particularly suitable for degreasing small metal parts (screws, nuts and bolts etc.).
The components to be treated are generally placed on a hopper which chokes the load of the machine.
The transport system consists of a spiralled drum which by rotating on its axis drags the pieces through the different stages of treatment and then unloads them on a chute or directly into baskets.
This is an extremely reliable and versatile plant.
|
|
Rotary drum machines (or Archimedes's screw) work with water solutions and particularly suitable for the treatment of all those items of little-mid dimensions, not so delicate, which require degreasing, rinsing and drying. Pieces are bulked loaded into the hopper (manually or through opportune device) so to arrive to the rotary drum conveyor for the treatment phases whereas the warm cleaner is sprayed violently through spraying nozzles opportunely positioned.
After the degreasing phase and chips removal during which contaminating substances are removed items go through a neutral zone for draining before being rinsed and/or passivated and finally dried with hot recirculated air.

Drum screener are used for the continuous separation of streamers respectively bird nests from plastic pellets. With the use of drum screeners downstream handling systems, problems caused by streamers and bird nests can be avoided.
Function
The rotating drum screener is gravimetrically fed with the plastic pellets containing streamers respectively bird nests. Due to the mesh size of the screener, the plastic pellets pass through the screener whereas the streamer and bird nests are retained. The streamers are trans-ported to the streamer discharge by rotation of the drum and a directional gas flow.
Design features
- reliable separation of streamers and bird nests from plastic pellets
- suitable for continuous operation due to automatic cleaning of the screener
- screen may be buffed or electropolished
- use in different operation modes (pressure, suction and circulation mode)
- easy disassembly of the drum screener
- quick-release openings for inspection and cleaning
- individual design for product requirements and throughput
