Because just like its big sisters MAXXTURN 65, 95 and 110, the MAXXTURN 45 is also a well high perfect solution for low-cost complete machining off-the-rack. Fitted with a counter spindle, driven tools, a high-precision C axis and very fast rapid-motion speeds, the MAXXTURN 45 offers everything the customer needs to manufacture complex turned and milled parts, not only in high quality, but also cost effective. A very special highlight of the new MAXXTURN 45 is the Y axis. It has been integrated into the machine structure and stands on extremely wide-set guide rails. This ensures extreme stiffness and top precision, even when performing difficult cutting tasks. The Unicom 6000 machining centre is ideally suited for vertical turning and multi-sided machining of complex components. This highly flexible and powerful machining centre for complete machining results from the continuous development of vertical machining centres over a period of more than 25 years.
The concept of Unicom 6000 is based on a moving table with integrated carousel turning station and an interface that can receive pallets of up to 2.500 mm in diameter. The table movement is designated as Y-axis and it runs underneath a traverse with cross slide and spindle carrier. The movements of cross slide and spindle carrier are designated as X-and Z-axis respectively.
