Wrapped Charge Air Hoses
Hoses and Hose Lines for Charge Air
Charge air hoses are air conduction hoses that counterbalance the relative movements of the various units of the supercharged vehicle power unit.
Depending on the materials selected, these charge air hoses (NW 60 to 180 mm) operate mainly in commercial vehicles under temperatures of between 50°C and 260°C and a pressure of -100 kPa to 500 kPa (overpressure).
The flexibility of these hoses is determined mainly by their geometrical configuration and the optimum integration of defined folds.
For less-complicated applications, we manufacture connecting sleeves in all the most commonly used diameters.

Chemical hoses from ContiTech cover the whole spectrum of standard hoses for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in accordance with EN 12115.
Special processes - some of them patented - provide for safe transport of various media. This includes both hoses with elastomer inner linings as well as plastic-clad ones.
New innovations include hoses with light-colored plastic lining. With their integrated conductor helix, the hoses comply with all requirements for a Ω hose as contained in EN 12115 while at the same time guaranteeing product purity.
Process-patented petrol pump hoses from ContiTech do not bleed colors and are conductive, extremely lightweight, flexible, buckle-proof and weather-resistant. They can be rolled up, have an extremely smooth, bright-colored finish and guaranteed calibratable volume increase. The compounds used allow for good resistance to swelling and diffusion. The "hose-in-hose" principle provides for automatic gas recirculation - and thus contributes actively to protecting the environment and human health.

The water cleaning hose range is dedicated to hobby and professional water cleaning machines, with cold and hot water (not suitable for vapour steam applications).
It is designed according to safety norm IEC-2 with safety factor burst/working pressure 4:1.
The water blasting hose range is designed with criteria of maximum robustness and easy handling, complete with adedicated fitting solution, in consideration of safety and performance aspects connected with blasting applications.

HIGH PRESSURE THERMO-HEATED HOSES
PREO high pressure thermo heated hose range is composed from several models (STANDARD, HIGH TEMPERATURE, SPRAY, WATER PROOF, SPECIAL) and either standards length according to Customer’s request ensuring accuracy and reliability for any type of application.An electric heating element, which controls the glue temperature inside the hose, screws around the pipe formed by a 8 mm diameter Teflon hose reinforced with a stainless steel sheath which can resist high pressures. The element is PTFE insulated, covered and screened with a glass fiber band and equipped with an earth wire and the temperature detecting probe. Finally a thick silicon foamed sheath guarantees a perfect thermal insulation, while a polyester anti wear cover increases the whole endurance to heat, impact and abrasions. The foam covering holds both the wiring for gun heating and powering and the 24 Volts supply to the electro valve. The solid housing of the hose end are hydraulically connected to the console and to the gun by two nipples, the electrical connection gets through fast external plugging.
