World first: The M70 Series
The new M70 Series from Mitsubishi Electric sets new industrial standards for the next generation of machine tools. An essential characteristic of the controller is its user-friendly operation, applying equally to setup, programming or daily use. Powerful programming tools such as NAVI MILL and NAVI Lathe assist in rapid program writing. In addition, the M70 Series offers new functions, which allow an even higher speed and level of precision of the machine tool. That results in short machining times and a high level of precision in the workpieces.
With the NC Designer, customised screen displays are simple and quick to produce. The development tool, which is also available for the M70 Series, supports the creation of individual displays without any programming or with C programming.

Ever increasing demands on CNC lathes require these machines to perform secondary operations such as cross drilling, milling to avoid rechucking of the workpiece. Live tooling when fitted to an adequately designed turret can fulfil this requirement.
Alberti is once again a pioneer, offering a wide range of live tools that incorporate the same hallmarks of quality, performance and reliability as the world renowned angle heads , with after sales service.
Alberti works with some of the most important lathe manufacturers and distributors world wide and offers standard designs of live tools for many CNC lathes.
Shafts supported by double ball bearings at the front and one at the rear;
Spheroidal GS 600 cast-iron body;
Case hardened steel housing with ground bearing bores;
Compact overall dimensions and weight;
Higher performance than similar products on the market;
Heat treated, precision ground components to improve performance;
Ability to tap with the use of axially-compensating collets. |

In order to accomplish the complete processing of workpieces on a center lathe, there are machines, whose acquisition is extremely complex very expensively and programming.
Our proposal for solution aims there that with a relatively simple accessory equipment, which can be to a large extent completely finished worked on turned parts.
This accessory equipment, briefly "MILLINGFIXED" called, can both on conventional and cycle-steered center lathes, to be simply post and/or rigged.
To the temporary storage facilities of turned parts, renewed rigging to a second machine, double expenditure of time, as well as high acquisition value are allotted. Complex programming and an impaired work space are omitted likewise by the employment "MILLINGFIXED".
We are convinced of the fact that this innovative solution will be in particular for manufacturing and repair shops relating to crafts, as well as very useful for school and training. |

The Unicom 6000 machining centre is ideally suited for vertical turning and multi-sided machining of complex components. This highly flexible and powerful machining centre for complete machining results from the continuous development of vertical machining centres over a period of more than 25 years.
The concept of Unicom 6000 is based on a moving table with integrated carousel turning station and an interface that can receive pallets of up to 2.500 mm in diameter. The table movement is designated as Y-axis and it runs underneath a traverse with cross slide and spindle carrier. The movements of cross slide and spindle carrier are designated as X-and Z-axis respectively.
Unicom 6000:
4-Axes complete machining centre with HSK100-A interface, carousel turning station and pallet changer. The machine can be equipped with a right angular head or a universal head, in combination with C-axis mode in the carousel turning station.
Unicom 6000-HV:
5-Axes complete machining centre with carousel turning station, pallet changer and HSK 63-A interface in the integrated Unisign Nutator NC machining head as 5th axis, in combination with C-axis mode in the carousel turning station. This configuration is capable of 5-axes machining of complex components.

The Vertical Line series machines with automated job feeding feature and special high speed electro spindles are quite suitable for mass production jobs. With modular tooling concept these machines are capable of performing variety of operations in one setup like, Turning, Milling, Drilling & Tapping and even Grinding. Vertical Line easily replaces horizontal single spindle machines with automation of gantry loaders or robots because of its simplicity and compactness.
The concept of moving the inverted vertical spindle head in all axes and keeping the front space of base open for customization of tooling requirement makes this machine series unique. Vertical Line series machines are having a single piece rigid construction base which supports all moving and stationery components

| The C series is based on the slant- bed machines of sizes N 30, N 40 and N 50. The basic assemblies and components such as the bed, lathe spindle and driving units as well as the tailstock or counter spindle are identical with those from the lathe series. Single- and multi-slide concepts are available as parts of a modular design system. |

WhizCut offers a complete range of toolholders and indexable carbide inserts specially developed for swiss automatic lathes.
The WhizFix toolholder system for external turning uses a bent pin and a nut to index the insert. Indexing an insert is easy, accurate and quick. You can index or change the insert while the toolholder is in the machine even if there only is access from the back side of the toolholder |
|
WhizCut provides an efficient solution to the problem of limited space when indexing inserts in a modern cnc Swiss Type Automatic lathe. Almost all types of external applications can be performed using two toolholders, one for axial turning and one mainly for radial turning (parting off etc.). The WhizCut system enables each toolholder to clamp up to 40 different kinds of inserts for various applications.
The WhizFix toolholder system uses a pin and a nut to make it possible to index or change the insert from the opposite side of the toolholder. The inserts can be indexed within 15 seconds even without access to the insert, making it the most effective system on the market today for cnc automatic lathes. |
