Tool and process monitoring system
The autonomous CTM system (Computer integrated Tool and Machine monitoring) from ARTIS can be integrated into the CNC and is used to monitor tools, machines, and processes.

Tool monitoring prevents the production of faulty parts or the occurrence of other damage resulting from worn, broken, or missing tools. Bearing damage on motor spindles, tool unbalance and collisions are detected by the machine monitoring functions. The functions for process monitoring are responsible for observation of quality criteria, for example, the tolerances of tap-drill sizes and thread depths.

The SIMATIC Flat Panel 15" PRO, SIMATIC THIN CLIENT 15" PRO, and SIMATIC MP 377 15" PRO present themselves in an IP65-rated enclosure - protected all around against dust and water jets. The ready-to-run devices can easily be attached from the top or the bottom to support arm systems (swivel arms) or pedestals.
The attachment interface supports mounting systems from many manufacturers (incl. the VESA standard for flat screens). The removal of the back wall is very simple, providing easy access to the ports and card slots of the Multi Panel.
Special cables or connectors are not necessary.

Paramax® helical and bevel gears of the standard Paramax range and the various special Paramax versions are the outcome of six decades of experience in drive engineering. The new CSF-Mini Series Gearboxes set new standards in their class concerning compactness, precision and performance.
In the CSF-Mini Series Gearboxes, HFUC component sets are used for the first time in standardised gearboxes. In comparison to HDUC component sets currently used in the mini series gearboxes, the HFUC component sets feature a shorter design, higher accuracy, higher torque capacity and improved torsional stiffness, whilst they are also able to accept higher maximum input speeds. In conjunction with the newly introduced 30:1 ratio, the CSF Gearboxes can be used with a comparatively high output speed.
A highly rigid four point flange bearing has been specifically developed for use on the output. Therefore the output element is available optionally with shaft or flange mounting. The input can be realised alternatively via a shaft or by a directly coupled motor.

Lifting gears and conveyor drives in which the drum and driving motor are arranged in parallel require a step-down gear unit with a corresponding large axle base. The lifting gear units in the POSIRED N series are designed for this application and ideally bridge the given distance between the motor and drum. The development of this series is based on widespread experience in crane engineering, belt conveyor drives, winches, and hoisting devices. The accessories needed for this application such as elastic clutches, barrel clut-ches, brakes and substructures, can be supplied together with the gear reducers.

The Sumitomo Helical Shaft Mount (HSM) Speed Reducer provides a convenient installation and removal method for speed reduction by mounting directly on the drive shaft. Sumitomo's Taper-Grip® bushing design provides simple keyless mounting and easy removal. HSM is readily adaptable for CEMA screw conveyer and shaft mount options. The HSM features carburized gear teeth with optimal gear geometry and wide gear faces, allowing maximum loading and highest efficiency torque output, for higher rating capacity in the most compact design.

Backed by a 5-year lubrication warranty, David Brown grid couplings require no periodic maintenance when lubricated with David Brown LTG (Long Term Grease) at installation. Featuring 25 sizes, grid couplings can accommodate torque loads of 932,000 Nm and shaft diameters of 508 millimetres.

After developing a project / a plant, the project data must be documented clearly. Appropriately structured documentation facilitates further execution of the project as well as the service work.
DOCPRO is provided as a tool for creating and managing plant documentation. DOCPRO permits structuring of project data, the preparation in the form of wiring manuals, and the printout in a unified print image.
DOCPRO provides convenient functions to develop and manage documentation as a wiring manual of the plant:
* Creation of wiring wiring manuals and job lists (sequence of print jobs); a wiring manual is structured by job lists.
* Central creation, editing and administration of title-block data;
title blocks can also be assigned to individual jobs that contain information on the specific job
* Supplied standard layout templates in different formats as a base for your own layouts and cover sheets.
* Automatic and manual allocation of drawing numbers;
users can allocate drawing numbers to the jobs in accordance with their own criteria
