The role of humidity calibrations that are accurate, reproducible, and documentable is becoming more and more important. The humidity calibrator HUMOR 20 developed by E E is the ideal reference instrument for these requirements and is traceable to international standards. The HUMOR 20 can be used in the humidity range of 10-95% RH both for monitoring cylindrical sensors and also for monitoring instruments with cubic dimensions.
Based on its operating principle, the HUMOR 20 can be used under typical conditions in a laboratory climate. For operation HUMOR 20 requires only distilled water, filtered oil-free air with a pressure of 10 bar and a power supply between 90-230V AC.
The operation of the HUMOR 20 is based on a fundamental two-pressure process and thus is similar to instruments used in national bureaus for standards.

The PGC 7000 series chambers feature our unique humidity control system that enables the user to attain unsurpassed levels of RH/temperature control and uniformity.
These test chambers are designed to accurately produce those temperature and humidity conditions required for applications such as stability studies, package testing, TAPPI, MIL-SPEC, and vapor transmission.
Applications are found in such diverse industries as pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, electronic omponents, food, semiconductor, paper and pulp, and wherever precise humidity and temperature replications are required.
Additionally, PGC’s SmartPad microprocessor controller is a user-friendly system that provides optimum accuracy and control. The SmartPad is equipped with direct readings in both temperature and humidity. It also features 40-segment programming for automatic cycling and ramping and soaking excursions. High-low or deviation alarms as well as digital communications ports are standard features.
The interior chamber is constructed of very durable, corrosion resistant stainless steel. Low watt density heaters are used that also contribute to the unit’s longer life.
Should your application require it, the chamber airflow can be factory configured from the standard horizontal flow to vertical. Other options include extended ranges, chart recorders, a window in the outer door, and a clear inner door with optional iris opening. System includes free logging software.

TAPPI Rooms
AN UNSURPASSED RH CONTROL OF ±0.5%
TAPPI Room PDF Parameter Generation and Control (PGC) manufactures TAPPI room systems and conditioners for existing laboratories. These systems provide the precise temperature and humidity control required by TAPPI T402 om-88.
We offer a complete package:
We manufacture your room or chamber to operate at both the TAPPI and TAPPI preconditioning specification. System can automatically cycle between the two conditions.
Complete installation on site anywhere in the world.
On-site start-up instruction.
PC based monitoring systems comes standard with each unit. System monitors temperature, relative humidity, saturator, and mechanical outputs.
Calibration and PM contracts.
Extremely precise control and uniformity within the room or chamber allows for the customer to easily validate at the targeted position.
Our unique dew point control systems utilize much less energy than other stability control systems.
Our systems do not utilize maintenance intensive boilers and steam injectors that require high purity water.

The textile conditioning unit is specifically designed to rapidly bring textile samples to the standard condition of 21°C and 65% RH.
Depending on the weight of the sample, this system will bring samples to equilibrium within 1 to 3 minutes.
PGC’s humidity generating systems are unique. By utilizing the “two temperature” method of control, PGC is able to create an unrivaled stable environment (see chart below).
PGC considers all three parameters necessary for attaining a specific specification (control constancy, chamber uniformity, sensor accuracy), thus providing the specified tolerance of ±1°C and ±2% RH is truly attainable. Most of our competition will control to ±2% RH, but sensor accuracy and chamber uniformity must be added to this figure.
Our systems do not utilize maintenance intensive boilers and steam injectors that require high purity water.
