To measure various climate and processes values with a handheld, user-friendly instrument requires extraordinary measurement technology. The handheld meter of the OMNIPORT 20 series meets these multiple demands.
The selection of the appropriate sensing probe and accordingly the configuration of the handheld meter allow for displaying the following values with the highest accuracy:
relative humidity RH
temperatur T
dew point temperature Td
absolute humidity dv
mixing ratio r
air velocity v
water activity (in oil) aw
water content (in oil) x
The robust housing of the OMNIPORT 20 allows usage in harsh industrial environments. The readability of the large illuminated display is excellent. The easy to understand menu and the practical thumbwheel navigation offer outstanding comfort.
An optional carrying case can accommodate the display unit, up to 5 sensing probes as well as accessories such as cables and calibration kits.

Vaisala HUMICAP® Hand-Held Moisture and Temperature Meter for Oil MM70 enables reliable detection of moisture in oil. It is ideal for the preventive maintenance of oil-filled systems. The brobe can be inserted directly into the process pipe through a ball valve - without draining the system. The measurement is independent of oil type, age and temperature.
The MM70 features the Vaisala HUMICAP® Sensor which is known for its excellent pressure, temperature and chemical tolerance.

The HMP228 is a fast, reliable and accurate on-line detection system for water in oil.
Moisture measurements from lubrication oil can significantly cut maintenance costs and prolong machine lifetime. The HMP228 measures water activity and temperature from oil. In connection with oil, water activity measurement offers several advantages compared to the traditionally measured variable, parts per million (ppm). Water activity indicates directly whether there is risk for free water formation. The measurement is independent of the type, aging or temperature of the oil.

For measurement of the water content in solid and pasty samples, the Sartorius Water Detection System 400 is the ideal alternative to classic Karl-Fisher titration. The WDS 400 combines three reference methods – oven drying, coulometry (Karl-Fisher titration) and phosphorous pentoxide into a highly accurate measurement technique. Yet the WDS 400 is also easy to operate without having to have special training and eliminates the need for working with detection reagents, many of which are toxic and expensive.
• Detects water quantities in the trace range
• Selective differentiation among surface and capillary water and water of crystallization
• Operating range from a few ppm to approx. 40% moisture
• 1 µg detection limit
• ± 2% reproducibility of the absolute water content
