Sensors for temperature and humidity, explosion proof
Transducer-/sensor conception for temperature and/or humidity measuring in hazardous areas, composed of a transducer series ExCon-D or RedCon-D and a sensor series ExPro, in acc. with ATEX 94/9/EG for use in hazardous areas zone 1, 2, 21 and 22, for all kind of gas, mixtures, vapours and dust. 24 VAC/DC supply, ranges from -40°C ... + 125°C or 0...100 % rF, as single measurement or combination of °C and %rF. Working range adjustable, output 0...10 VDC and 4...20 mA, actual value indication, aluminium housing in P 66, integral Ex-e terminal housing. ExPro sensors are available with 50mm, 100mm, 150 mm and 200 mm length in acc. with type and can be connected to the transducer for room or duct mounting. series ExCon-D for use inzone 1, 2, 21, 22. series RedCon-D for use in zone 2, 22.
The module is for installation inside the hazardous area, an interface in the safe area is not required, installation of intrinsic safe circuit is not required. This saves cost, space and guarantees safety. |

| Relative moisture sensors from Sensirion have become the market standard, since they were launched in 2002. Nowadays the company yearly sells millions of humidity sensors all around the world. The sensor solutions are designed for diverse applications such as data logging, climate control, and antifogging. They hence measure relative humidity and temperature in different kind of products. The digital humidity sensors work with a capacitive measuring principle. Thanks to its unique CMOSens® technology, the humidity sensors allow precise humidity and temperature measuring at low cost. |
|
This digital, modular sensor with PMU Plug-and-Measure unit measures the relative humidity and temperature and calculates to output the values of the dew point temperature, water content, enthalpy, absolute humidity and wet industrial bulb temperature.

Insert these thin, laminated RTDs in winding slots to detect high temperatures before insulation damage occurs. RTD manufacturer of temperature sensors continuously monitor conditions and provide the long term trend data that is necessary for making adjustments before unexpected alarms occur.
The sensing elements of stator RTDs extend through most of the body length to provide an average temperature reading. This eliminates the danger of a point-type sensor missing a localized hot spot. Six sensors are recommended for each motor, two per phase. Locate sensors near the hottest point of the windings for best performance.
Some models comply with European standards for electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres: ATEX Directive 94/9/EC EN 50 014: 1997, General requirements EN 50 019: 2000, Increased safety.

"Nivotemp 63 K + KN, 63 K-VA + KN-VA
Modern production facilities employ more and more plant automation systems and computerized controls. These allow the monitoring and control of hydraulic and lubricating systems. Traditional level controls are focused on pump protection i. e. a typical system is equipped with a suppliers of level switch with one or two contacts. These contacts protect the pump from running dry in the event of leakage..
Modern systems provide the opportunity for a pro-active leakage control by the use of continuous signals.
An analog output of 4-20 mA signals continuous signals the fluid level. Deviations from the ""normal"" are detected instantly and can be transformed into many types of action. In case of a catastrophic failure such as a burst professional hose the pump could be shut down immediately rather then let it run until the traditional switch turns it off after a large volume of oil has spilt.
The Nivotemp 63 versions provide continuous analog signals for liquid level only or for level and temperature combined. They are available in two standard length or in 150mm increments. The flange dimensions are the standard ones used for filler/breathers ( DIN 24557/2). In addition the units can be combined with our Fluidcontrolterminal which makes oil care even more technically advanced.
The 63..VA versions are suitable for use with high water based liquids ( HFA).
