The relative humidity is in most industry domains and in the quality control a decisive quantity. That is why high requirements relatively to measurement accuracy, long time stability and equipment are postulated for temperature / humidity probes in industrial environments.
The technologically highly up-to-date capacitve humidity sensors used in the TH109 probes fulfill all these requirements. The temperature humidity probes excel also with the following features:
- compact and robust stainless steel housing,
- standardized M12-plug,
- standardized analogue outputs,
- exchangeable filter caps and various fixing possibilities thanks the practical housing form.
The temperature measuring range covers -20°C up to 80°C. The humidity measurement covers the full range from 0% to 100% RH with an accuracy of 2% RH. The areas of application of these probes are for example the climate control, air conditioning and heating installations, building controlling, dryer systems, process controlling, plants construction and in warehouses. Customer oriented solutions are thanks the modular conception realizable.

Minco humidity and humidity plus temperature transmitters are designed using an advanced microprocessor. Digital signal processing allows these transmitters to precisely match the characteristics of the humidity sensor to a wide range of RH and temperature values found in the many applications the product serves.
The humidity sensor is comprised of an integrated circuit (IC) with a stable polymer element and platinum RTD that is used for temperature compensation. This sensor offers outstanding resistance to airborne contaminant and chemicals, and is protected by a sintered stainless steel filter which resists condensation.

When the Tramex RH Probe is plugged into the MRH, CMEXpert or CRH, the instrument automatically changes to Hygrometer Mode. The Tramex RH Probe provides the ideal solution for Measurement of Humidity,Temperature and Dew-point in structural materials such as concrete flooring, walls etc., as well as the environmental conditions within the building or structure. Humidity readings are displayed in both Percentage Relative Humidity (%RH) and mixing ratio (grains/lb or grams/kg). (Mixing ratio not available on CRH meter).
The solid-state capacitive sensor in the RH probe gives accurate, fast results.
Allows testing of concrete slabs using the In Situ (ASTM F2170) or RH hood
(ASTM F2420), BS 5325:2001 & BS 8203:2001) methods.
Measurement method: Solid state capacitive RH sensor
Measurement range: 5% to 98% RH; 14° to 120°F (-10° to + 50°C)
Resolution: 1% RH. 1°C/°F
Accuracy: +/- 3% RH
Housing material: Stainless steel
Probe dimensions: 10 mm x 110mm (0.4” x 4.3”)

TEMPERATURE / HUMIDITYSENSOR MODEL 261
The 261 combines accurate measurement of temperature and humidity with flexibility. It is very easy to configure the humidity sensor in different
ways (hardware / software). Both serial (digital) and analogue outputs are available. Temperature and humidity are standard measured.
Optional outputs for calculated values as: dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity and mixing ratio are possible (calculated by internal microprocessor).

This module, intended to quantify the relative humidity level and temperature in the ambient atmosphere, is made of a micro-system SPSI UPSICAP MSS Bi-Face G-TUCN.32 type that delivers a variable frequency proportional to humidity, and a resistive temperature sensor (platinum 1000 Ω).
The micro-system making this probe, integrates a humidity cell created in-situ on the upper side of the substrate, while the lower side carries the temperature sensor, the electronic transmitter and the plug-in connector. This functional module is associated to a support with output connection. The surface electrode cell which is directly in contact with water vapor is connected to ground (0V).
It can be associated with modules H-TUTA.32 or H-UTA.32 (output 4-20 mA two wires by independant channel). The micro-system module and the substrate of the connector-supply are protected from harsh environment by full moulding, and the sensig side to humidity, can be covered with high efficient atmospheric filter to reduce electrical effects of condensation.
This technology is a major step forward in the field of sensor-transmitters with long-term stability and reduction of mass production cost.

thermoMETER: Precise non-contact temperature measurement from -40 to 1,800°C
The thermoMETER product group is targeted at industrial users. The infrared sensors comprise eleven products for stationary use. Amongst others, this includes products such as thermoMETER CT, which has external electronics. This sensor operates in temperatures from -40°C up to +975°C. This also includes the CT laser, which uses an integrated laser optical system to mark actual spot sizes at every distance. The CTglass version of this laser sensor is designed for use in glass production. The miniature sensors in the thermoMETER CS and CS micro series have integrated electronics located in the sensor head in the case of theCS, and directly integrated in the cable for the CS micro. This is particularly beneficial if space is restricted. The range also includes special sensors for use at high ambient temperatures of up to 250°C and for very high object temperatures of up to 1,800°C. A sensor with a response time of less than 3ms is also available very fast processes. To round off the range, an extensive list of accessories are provided for all sensors. These include various optical systems, air purge units, mounting aids and solid cases.
