HumiTracTM features a NIST traceable, field-replaceable sensor tip module that allows the end user to replace the sensor on-site and maintain ±2% RH accuracy and NIST traceability. This virtually eliminates the need for time consuming and costly factory calibration, while reducing downtime during service intervals to near zero. HumiTracTM is designed to be highly configurable in the field - by minimizing the necessary number of orderable configurations, GE reduces distributor inventory costs and provides maximum flexibility to the installer. All versions feature field-selectable outputs (0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA) and passive temperature versions incorporate both a 3K and 10K O thermistors. Signal-conditioned temperature versions are available scaled from 0 to 50°C or -40 to 60°C. HumiTrac is available in humidity accuracies of ±2% or ±5%, and offered in wall mount, duct mount and outdoor air configurations.

TS UMD 00 probe is a 4-20 mA humidity transducer (proportional respectively to 0 and 100% of relative humidity) designed to obtain the humidity value of the environment where it is placed. The humidity survey uses a polymeric-capacitive sensor. The produced signal gets converted in a proportional 4-20 mA current and it is transmitted to the connected instrument.
TS UMD 01 has besides, a temperature transducer with 4-20 mA output (proportional respectively to -20 and +80 °C, -4 and +176 °F) designed to obtain also the temperature value; the temperature survey uses a PTC sensor.
TS UMD probes series are studied for wall installation with fixing clip.

This module, intended to quantify the relative humidity level and temperature in the ambient atmosphere, is made of a micro-system SPSI UPSICAP MSS Bi-Face G-TUCN.32 type that delivers a variable frequency proportional to humidity, and a resistive temperature sensor (thermistor NTC). The micro-system making this probe, integrates a humidity cell created in-situ on the upper side of the substrate, while the lower side carries the temperature sensor, the electronic transmitter and the plug-in connector. This functional module is associated to a support with stabilized power supply, negative supply protection, possible level translation, CEM filter and output connection. The surface electrode cell which is directly in contact with water vapor is connected to ground (0V). The sensig side to humidity, can be covered with high efficient atmospheric filter to reduce electrical effects of condensation. This technology is a major step forward in the field of sensor-transmitters with long-term stability and reduction of mass production cost.

This miniature module is entended to be associated to a probe of humidity and temperature measurement F-TUCN.33N or P. It provides a stabilized power supply for the probe, performs the signal acquisition of measurement in frequency and delivers a DC linear current proportional to the relative humidity level according to the 4-20 mA two wires standard system and a variable resistor proportional to the temperature (thermistor NTC or platinum PT1000).
This system is characterized by an operating voltage and a measurement current carried by the same two wires without decoding. The measurement current which is mixed with the consumption current, is regourously independent from the voltage supply in a proportion of 600 % and the charge resistance could reach 1500 Ω.
