UNIQUE SAFETY FEATURE
HP Series couplings incorporate a unique safety
feature to prevent accidental disconnection - a spring
loaded locking sleeve. When the coupling halves are
connected, the locking sleeve automatically rotates
through 90°. To disconnect the coupling the locking
sleeve is turned back 90° so the locking ball is
aligned with the release notch. The sleeve is then
pulled back and the coupling will disconnect.
ADVANTAGES Flat faces can easily be wiped clean before
connection to prevent the ingress of contaminants
into the circuit. Clean disconnection - non-spill design. No air intrusion during connection. Streamlined flow path minimises pressure drop. Locking sleeve prevents accidental disconnection. Bi-directional flow
MATERIALS
Zinc plated carbon steel body with a 302 stainless
steel spring. Nitrile rubber and Teflon seals. Other seal
materials available on request.

Clean break quick fit couplings for high pressure hydraulics
HC series
Features:
These clean break couplings have been specially designed for high pressure hydraulic applications, which are exposed to rough conditions and heavy strain, e.g. in the steel industry. The coupling is easy to clean even in a dusty or dirty environment thus minimising the risk of introducing particles into the hydraulic system. Due to the specific design principle, there is no loss of media or ingress of air into the system when the coupling is operated.
Key Benefits:
• automatic locking
• squirt-free
• hard-wearing design
• extreme high pressure range
• no loss of media or ingress of air during operation
• full operating pressure for coupling and adaptor even when disconnected
• flat surfaces for easy cleaning when disconnected
• special design in dirt protected version
• special design with relief valve
Nominal Sizes:
6, 8, 12, 16 and 20 mm
Media:
for self-lubricating media, e.g. hydraulic oil
Pressure Range:
up to 650 bar (depending on nominal size and material), partially suitable for vacuum

Technical Description
The coupling system of the TFF series has double shut-off, dry break and single-handed operation. During uncoupling there is no oil loss, and during coupling there is no inclusion of air into the system.
Connected length in total:
TFF5010 + TFF5020 = 144 mm
TFF5010 + TFF5021 = 179 mm
TFF7510 + TFF7520 = 169 mm
TFF7510 + TFF7521 = 215 mm
TFF10010 + TFF10020 = 230 mm
TFF10010 + TFF10021 = 269 mm
Advantages
Dry break quick connect coupling. With minimum pressure drop. Single-handed operation. No oil loss during uncoupling. A safety closing ring prevents unintentional disconnection. Also available with pressure eliminator, i.e. connection is possible under static dynamic/residual pressure up to working pressure.
Working Temperature*
-20°C up to +100°C (NBR)
-25°C up to +200°C (FKM)
depending on the medium.
*At a temperature below
-25°C and above +200°C special
seals are available on request.

Rotary couplings and rotary valve couplings
for oil supply to rotating and swivelling installations
they have to be mounted in the centre of rotation of the installation.
In contrast to rotary couplings rotary valve couplings take on the control functions for clamping and unclamping.
max. operating pressure 250 / 500 bar

MID has developed a new variable geometry coupling, which can swivel through 360 degrees: the DynaVariacor®. This internationally patented system provides in particular complete flexibility for use with all types of pneumatic tools and appliances.
The coupling is robust, light and compact; it reduces wear and avoids coiling of the feed hose. This coupling enables increased precision of movement of the tool by reducing the handling force required by the user, due to the relative rigidity of the feed pipes. Operator comfort is improved. The DynaVariacor® products have useful features: the interior cross-section of the coupling remains constant at all angles, so pressure loss is minimised and flow rates are naturally optimum.
The system is available in several sizes and fittings for a variety of uses: small industrial hand tools such as impact wrenches, grinders, drills, screw guns and riveting machines as well as equipment of larger size and power such as nail guns, staplers, disc sanders, pneumatic drills, compacting machines and special equipment.
