In certain cases, braking resistors absorb the energy of a motor drive, thereby braking the motor. Each and every resistor designed by JOVYATLAS is suitable for use as a braking resistor.

The soft start and braking device of the VersiComb series from PETER electronic, for motor ratings up to 11KW, represents an alternative with a good cost-performance ratio in order to replace star-delta starting in combination with a d.c. braking device.
