Adjustable, Double Acting (ADA 500 and ADA 700 Series) rate controls regulate speed in both tension and/or compression modes independently. Fixed orifices and interchangeable cartridges are available for the ADA 500 Series, which provide tamperproof operation once the desired rate has been determined. An optional remote adjustment cable provides adjustment control in otherwise inaccessible locations for the ADA 500 Series.

STAB-O-SHOC
Function of a Damper
The damper is a hydraulic damping element and consists of a pressure tube with a connection fitting, a piston rod with piston system and a piston rod connection fitting. The piston rod is mounted in a special seal-guide system in the pressure tube. The piston rod in the pressure tube features a damping piston and the related valve system. The movement of the piston displaces the filling medium (oil), which is pressed through the valve system and thus produces the damping force.
Dampers are needed to influence the nature of movements and vibrations. Dampers are designed to optimally match the particular application.
Vibration dampening for steering systems, engines, automatic trailer brakes, washing machines, seats, two-wheelers and other applications.
Vibration damper with separating piston for positionally independent installation. Available with an internal valve for compensation of high compression forces. Frequency-dependent dampers for dampening only selected areas of vibration.

Damping Engineering
EDH and ZDH final dampers
Used to slow travel speeds before reaching the final position. An extensive
range of sizes in both single and bi-directional configurations is available with variable damping.
High-Performance dampers
These dampers will slow heavy fast moving objects in a short distance - used mainly in machine manufacture.
Oil dampers with fixings on both ends
These dampers are attached to the object at both ends by eyelets or other end fittings and provide constant damping throughout their stroke. These dampers are available preset or with variable damping force.
The oil dampers are manufactured custom-made, in single units as well as large batches. The Dictator engineering service calculates the oil damper you need, this calculation being included in our service.
Radial dampers
These variable force dampers provide constant speed control for heavy objects over long travel distances and are particularly suitable to control sliding doors.
DICTATOR engineers calculate the correct damper for your application.

PowerStop- Industrial Shock Absorber from Zimmer.
At our PowerStop the exhausting channel (throttle) is directly incorporated into the compared to the conventional shock absorber.
Because of the continious conicity (spiral groove) piston there is a dynamic force over the total stroke and a maximum energy consumption at minimum power.By the spiral groove a lubricating film in form of a classical hydrostatic slide bearing is up between the piston and high-pressure bushing. The technogical improvement is evident.
-Smooth braking (without sudden cross section constrictions)
-Higher power consumption by max. capacity use in each piston position
-Individual manual adjustment for each matter of application
-Compact contstruction space by substancial higher energy consumption
-Minimum abrasion rates by optimal bearing
-Assembly in pneumatic pressure chamber possible (PowerStop)
-Higher operation safety and longer service life by oil reserve (PowerStop).
