Application
In the high pressure circuits of hydraulic systems.
Performance features
Protection
against wear: By means of filter elements that, in full-flow filtration,
meet even the highest demands regarding cleanliness
classes. Protection against malfunction: Through installation near to the control valves or other
expensive components. The specific determined flow rate
guarantees a closed by-pass valve even at < 930 SUS
(cold start condition).
Filter elements
Flow direction from outside to center. The star-shaped pleating of the filter
material results in:
- large filter surfaces
- low pressure drop
- high dirt-holding capacities
- long service life

Return Filters - lightline up to 18.5 gpm, Tank top mounting/In-line mounting, FR 043/FR 072
Application
In the return line circuits of hydraulic systems.
Performance features
Protection
against wear: By means of filter elements that, in full-flow filtration, meet even the highest demands regarding cleanliness classes.
Protection against
malfunction: By means of full-flow filtration in the system return,
the pumps are protected from dirt particles remaining in the system after assembly and repairs which are generated by wear or enter the system from outside.
Special features
Connection: Hose nipple
By-pass valve: The location close to the inlet port prevents dirt particles
retained by the filter element from entering into the clean
oil side. Removable bowl: In case of maintenance the filter bowl is removed
along with the filter element - so that dirt particles
are not flushed back into the tank. Oil separator: Prevents oil splashing through the breather on mobile
applications. Extension pipe: Easy and fast adaption to various lengths due to the
"do-it-yourself"-system.

The pressure line filter is an essential part in most hydraulic systems. When the hydraulic components are sophisticated, with close tolerances and a regulation function (not simply that of control) the use of filters in the pressure lines is a must.
|
|
|
The return line filter is an essential part of any hydraulic system. In many instances it is the only "system protection" provided and therefore must be carefully chosen to ensure maximum system efficiency.

The patented Magnom filters are based on a simple idea: fluids are cleaned of ferrous particles by a magnet.
Removing ferrous particles (as small as 0.07um.) they remove the key cause of wear within a fluid system; especially in critical parts with tight tolerances, such as engines and pumps.
Microscopic ferrous particles damage industrial fluid systems and degrade finished products. Magnetic Filters are the solution to ferrous contamination of industrial fluids.
This technology reduces downtime needed for repairs, replacements or even servicing, increases in a massive way quality of final product.
These filters need simple maintainance, they can be easily removed and replaced, transparent Magnom units allow for quick visual inspection.
The revolutionary technical design of the Magnom leads directly to enhanced performance and substantial economic benefits.

PureForce Filters Made for Harsh Conditions
Baldwins PureForce filters are engineered to withstand extreme conditions created by medium-pressure hydraulic systems, with working pressure up to 500 psi and flow rates up to 50 gpm.
Highest Possible Structural Integrity
Baldwins PureForce hydraulic filters feature a die cast aluminum baseplate locked in place by a patent pending L-Lock hem eliminating leaks due to the integrity of the housing seal.
Superior Burst Pressure
Lab and field testing show that PureForce filters have the highest level of burst and fatigue characteristics with PureForce exceeding the leading competitors published burst pressure specifications by an average of 65%.
Greater Consistency
PureForce filters test at higher average levels on a more consistent basis providing the most reliable medium-pressure hydraulic spin-on. This greatly reduces the possibility of unexpected downtime due to a failed filter.

The OMT range of filters fits into return lines of hydraulic circuits (pressure up to 20 bar), suction lines and medium/high pressure lines (100/420bar).
Depending on the models, they can be equipped with accessories like differential clogging indicators (visual and electric), pressure gauges, pressure switches, by pass valves etc.

Return-line filters retain all the contamination created within the equipment and flushed out of the hydraulic circuit, thus preventing contamination entering the circuit via the tank and pump, with all its negative implications.

Return Line Filters RF
STAUFF return-line filters RF are designed as tank top filters. Their practical design allows easy element replacement and quick installation. A wide range of media is available for the RF element series.
* operating pressure up to 16 bar
* flows up to 500 l/min
* BSP, NPT, SAE o-ring ports or SAE flange (code 61)
* filter head made of aluminium, filter bowl made of glass fiber reinforced PA
* visual and visual-electrical indicators
Return Line Filters RFB
STAUFF RFB return line filters are designed as tank top filters. They are mounted directly on the tank top and if 100% ofthe system oil is filtered they provide the optimum removal of contaminant from the system. This provides the pump withclean oil thus reducing contaminant generated wear. Because of it%u2019s low weight and compact design the STAUFF filters RFB are optimally suitable in mobile hydraulic applications.
