Compressed air condensate generally has far more oil than
20 mg/l content. The user has two possibilities.
Firstly, he can have the condensate taken away by a specialist waste disposal firm at great cost. Alternatively, the user can process the condensate on site by separating the oil and the water, which forms the largest
proportion.
ZANDER’s ecosep S high efficient oil-water separator and
the ecodrain automatic drain, offer compressed air users a
complete condensate management system to achieve an oil content, in water of 10 mg/l or below which can be discharged into the effluent system.
-ecosep SL 1 - SL 60
Separating system for non emulsified compressor condensate. Usable to connect several condensate drain systems. The adsorption charcoal filters adsorb the remaining oil droplets and garant high safety in application.
Standard complete and ready for operation.
Optionally a heater is available.

Strainer
Sunfab strainer for separate installation on the suction pipe
Sunfab strainer type 150 is an inexpensive guarantee against operational stoppage due to contaminants such as welding blobs, brazing flakes, etc, which can often occur in the system, especially after new installations
Sunfab strainer is single use but can be flushed clean if necessary
Sunfab strainer type 150 functions as a coarse filter and does not replace the normal return filter
Sunfab strainer is intended for pump type SL. It must not be used with pump type SC because of the increased pressure in the suction pipe

A LARGE RANGE OF FILTERS
METAL EDGE FILTERS OR BACK FLUSHING FILTERS FOR
ECONOMICAL FILTRATION
Variable configuration inline pressure filters which use modern technology and can be deaned during on-going operation, require no maintenance or disposal measures as opposed to consumable filter material.
They can be used in applications ranging from fine filtration to coarse filtration.

System Features
Hydraulic oil even when new will have a certain level of particle
contamination, and is typically graded at ISO 17/13/14. When oil
is added to a system further contamination can occur. Whilst
under operating conditions air and moisture, as well as particles
from seals and hoses, can add to the contamination and
degradation of the oil. Fitting a Filtakleen filter will not only
reverse this process but it will clean your oil so thoroughly it will
be cleaner than when it was new! |

Vokes 361/1 Lubricating Oil Filter Coalescer complete with pump. Several of these units, specifically designed to resist shock, have been supplied for purifying gearbox lubricating oil in submarine applications.P
Applications
The Vokes Filter Coalescer is designed for the removal of solids and water from mineral lubricating oils used in lubricating or hydraulic systems.
This makes it an ideal solution to those applications where water can contaminate oils through condensation, seals or glands.
The Vokes Filter Coalescer can be supplied by itself for the customer to pipe in to his system or in a variety of modules which can include pumps, heaters and control systems to provide self contained purification systems.
The Vokes Filter Coalescer is used in industries such as Power Generation, Sugar Refining and Marine, to provide the purification of lubricating oils in main and auxiliary steam turbines, gear boxes, stern tube and low pressure hydraulics systems. It is either used as a bypass system on the main tanks or from a bleed off the main oil supply line. |

In order to prevent paraffin separation and clogging of the filter at low ambient temperatures, pre-warming with electric heating elements or recirculation of fuel that has been warmed by the engine is used in our fuel filters.
For newer generations with even higher requirements, MAHLE has opted for two separate filter stages during water separation.
The first filter phase consists of a cellulose filter medium with an untreated melt-blown contact surface for increasing the contaminant absorption capacity. This melt-blown contact surface optimally causes the many small droplets to coalesce into larger ones. The particulate filter in the shape of a pleated star even agglomerates the finest water droplets.
The second filter phase consists of a water separator, whose hydrophobic fabric with a mesh width of 25 µm divides the barely stable emulsion, thus separating the water. As this occurs on the clean side of the filter, it is referred to as clean-side water separation.

Cleanline portable light 4.2 gpm, up to 58 psi, FA 014
With the oil service unit FA 014 hydraulic or lubricating systems can be easily filled or deaned.
1. Compact design
The compact design allows easy access to the oil tank.
FA 014 comes ready to connect, with hose packages.
2. Economical
Efficiency through ARGO-HYTOS Fluid Management systems. After just a short time your investments will be amortized due to longer service intervals and increase of machine availability
3. User-friendly filter element change
Optimal operator handling has been a key feature in the development of FA 014. No extra tools are needed to open
the housing and the filter element can be pulled out through the hang-in technique.
4. Maintenance-free filter housing thanks to a clever filter element technique
On the bottom of the from inside to outside flown through filter elements there is a dirt retention valve. If the filter element is pulled out of the filter housing with the cover, the dirt retention
valve will close. Sedimented dirt is removed from the housing with the filter element.
5. Quality ˇn detail
The EXAPOR® fine element is the heart of the FA 014. High cleanliness levels protect hydraulic systems against dirt during the oil filling process.

The Vokes Filter Coalescer is a static device for the removal of solids and free water from Distillate and Light Liquid Fuels and Mineral Lubricating Oils.
The cartridge combines a long life depth type pre-filter media designed to give extended life by the removal of pipe scale, rust, waxes and asphaltenes that would otherwise cause the coalescent media to blind.
The pre-filter, together with the first and second stage coalescing medias effectively combine small droplets of water into large droplets which are then separated from the oil flow by gravity.
A final stripper screen is fitted to further minimise any risk of carry over of small droplets into the clean oil discharge.
The purified oil is discharged at the top of the housing, while the water is drained from the bottom.
Principal of Operation
The small droplets of water are intercepted by fibres and because of the hydrophilic nature of the fibres, are retained. As the number of droplets collected increases they join together to form a layer of water.
The flow of the oil then pushes this water through the media to the outside where it forms large droplets on the sock surrounding the cartridge.
These droplets then grow until they reach a size which causes them to fall off and drop to the bottom of the housing through gravity. |
