THE MATERIAL
Butyl: The polymer butyl (IIR - isobutylene isoprene - rubber) is an elastomer with a small number of double bonds, produced through co-polymerisation of isobutylene and isoprene.
EPDM: The polymer EPDM, ethylene-propylene rubber, is produced through co-polymerisation of ethylene, propylene and diene monomer, producing a polymer made up of saturated linear macromolecules with a paraffinic structure.
In addition to the base polymer, both EPDM and Butyl contain reinforcing carbon black, fillers, process chemicals, antioxidants and vulcanising agents. After mixing the ingredients into a homogenous plastic compound, two layers of the rubber are rolled out in a calender to form a double sheet. Vulcanisation is then carried out. The long rubber molecules in the material are cross-linked through heat and pressure, creating an elastic membrane.
RESISTANT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
The vulcanisation process means that the material differs from all thermoplastic products, in that its properties are not affected by varying temperatures. The product is chemically stable and always returns to its original dimensions after stretching.
The cross-linked molecular structure gives EPDM and Butyl rubber their unique properties. Ageing or changes in characteristics are negligible despite decades of exposure to the atmosphere, sunlight, UV radiation, chemical fallout, water or major temperature fluctuations.

Picture : Special Mobile Straddle Transporter MST 320 - Max carrying capacity 300t
The equipment, used for transporting and handling cruise-boat elements weighing up to 300t, has a lifting travel - under the hook - of 50m and a span of 45m.
Besides, we can supply MOBILE BOAT HAULERS and MOBILE BOAT TRAILERS for handling and transporting, dry-docking and launching boats with a weight up to 1500 ton.
Our Company can design, manufacture and supply the most appropriate travelift, and also guarantee direct after-sale and spare parts service, with highly skilled staff, even for equipment of other manufacturers.
Our staff consists of persons who can boast a 30-year experience in this field.
We are now completing 4 units of Mobile Boat Hauler MBH 820 (2 of which have already been commissioned), each of them with a capacity of 820 ton., to date the biggest ever, worldwide ! |

CMR industrial transport vehicles are designed and built to convey materials of notable weight and dimensions.
Suspension systems can be multipIe: hooks, lifting beams, hydraulic pliers, lifting magnets. High manoeuvrability and operating performance, together with low operating costs, make them particularly competitive in the field of industrial handling.
They are produced according to specific technical requirements in single or double gantry configuration. |

SL Models from Shuttlelift are engineered to lift from fifteen to five hundred tons. Our main frame is high strength, low alloy steel with box section design. We bend our plate steel and fasten it together using two welds instead of the four box welds that most companies use. The Pivot Trunnion joint in our cranes permits side frames to oscillate, neutralizing frame stress under load on uneven terrain. The SL's hydraulic system is simple with a single gear pump containing four mains and one auxiliary section driven off the engine flywheel.
There are several design differences between the SL and ISL Models, but one of the main differences in our SL Model is the absence of a traversing hook. We intentionally designed the SL Model without the ability to traverse a load in order to add stability to a narrower structural frame. Quite simply, because the SL cannot traverse, we are able to design it to fit into a tighter space all while maintaining consistent load stability. |

Cimolai Technology S.p.A. can design, fabricate, assemble on-site, test and supply (on a turn-key basis) the following sets of equipment:
- LAUNCHING GANTRIES for building steel and/or concrete bridges (using either beams or segments), say: Overhead Launching Gantries, Underslung Launching Gantries
- DERRICK CRANES designed for erecting steel or concrete bridges
- CANTILEVER LIFTING DEVICES, i.e. devices for lifting and positioning steel or concrete segments
- PORTAL CRANES on wheels or runways
- SHAFT CRANES, usually set to work in sites for the construction of dams or tunnels
- BACK-UP SYSTEM FOR TBM, i.e.: Systems for automatic feeding of the concrete elements forming the tunnel roofs to the positioning equipment; Erectors for automatic placing of the segments; Trolleys to transport the diggings or for personnel transportation inside tunnels (with catalyzed mufflers and particulate filters for operations in tunnels)
- AUTOMATIC WAGGON OVERTURNING SYSTEMS for the automatic overturning of waggons, used mainly at the exit of tunnels being build to discharge the contents of the waggons onto trucks or dumpers used to transport the diggings deriving from tunnel excavation |

| The ISL Model from Shuttlelift is our premier line of Gantry Cranes. They are engineered for higher duty cycles due to increased hoisting drum speeds, as well as increased ground speed capabilities, which will enable you to be much more efficient. Our ISL cranes have fully traversing hooks that move the entire width of the crane for easy loading and unloading, which again, adds to efficiency |

A true innovation in the safety field, ETCHE SECURITE neoprene* rubber safety waders and thigh waders are the progress users have been waiting for. They offer greater freedom of movement thanks to neoprene's* flexibility and lightness whilst providing reinforced protection, excellent heat insulation and high resistance to chemical attack.
To these unique qualities, ETCHE SECURITE full- or thigh-waders add an essential property: excellent resistance to aging even if they are stored for a considerable time after immersion in a corrosive medium. |
