The TempTrackr™ Multipoint System provides a batteryless, non-invasive and low cost temperature measurement solution that is ideally suited for applications ranging from High Power Switches to Rotating Machine Components. The Starter Kit is designed to showcase the capabilities of the TempTrackr™ Multipoint System. Each Kit includes three batteryless wireless temperature sensors that are capable of reading temperatures between 0°C and 120°C. The three sensors provide the ability to monitor temperature at multiple points of interest. The Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) resonator within each sensor is powered by bursts of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a wireless reader (also known as a wireless interrogation unit). A feedback signal, conditioned by the temperature to which the resonator is exposed, is then electromagnetically transmitted to the wireless reader where it is processed for temperature measurement. The TempTrackr™ Multipoint System is capable of tracking up to six sensors and can provide temperature data via the CAN communication protocol. The number of sensors can be extended to 12 by making use of multiple interrogation antennae. The Starter Kit is an ideal technology evaluation tool3. SenGenuity will work closely with you to adapt the TempTrackr™ Multipoint System to meet the specific needs and requirements of your application.

I/O-Module von Baumüller
Up to 64 I/O terminals can be operated directly at an I/O node. This means that up to 1020 I/O signals can be processed on site. This reduces the cost of wiring a machine or system.
Up to 64 I/O terminals can be operated directly at an I/O node.
Baumüller I/O components provide users with a wide range of modules for adapting to requirements in the best possible way. Industrially compatible signal types can be easily incorporated in the application for evaluation purposes.
The use of I/O islands means that the machine information can be recorded at their “origin”, transmitted to the PLC and processed.

Typical Distributed I/O and Remote I/O Applications
Distributed I/O and Remote I/O eliminate expensive point-to-point wires by networking just a few, or thousands of, process signals onto one digital communication link.
For data acquisition, distributed I/O and remote I/O send signals from field-mounted sensors, transmitters, transducers, and alarms directly to DCS, PLC, and PC-based systems.
Send control signals long distances to remote valves, pumps, and motors with distributed I/O and remote I/O.
Unburden an overworked computer system by distributing signal conditioning and intelligence.
Use as expansion I/O to add points to a DCS or PLC system.
Convert weak sensor signals to immune digital signals to avoid damage during long-distance transmission through a noisy plant.
Distributed I/O and Remote I/O allow the transmission of signals any distance and over any terrain with twisted-pair wires, fiber optics, radio link, or modems.

On-Machine control is the placement of automation components directly on a machine rather than housing them in a remote, central cabinet. This is possible with the emergence of more modular, compact devices, plug-and-play connectivity, flexible communication networks, intelligent devices, and a wide array of products with improved environmental ratings. On-Machine components can include everything from programmable controllers, motor starters, drives, sensors, contactors, network media, distribution boxes, and I/O, as well as HMI devices. On-Machine solutions provide reduced wiring and system costs, improved Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), enhanced control system reliability, increased productivity, and greater flexibility.

S900 provides all input and output modules needed for intrinsically safe field signal connection. The field signals are amplified in every S900 functional module, electrically isolated, and then output via an internal serial bus. A communication interface converts the digitized signals to adapt them to the standardized PROFIBUS DPV1 fieldbus protocol. Supervisory process control systems, DCS or SCADA systems use an intrinsically safe fieldbus to communicate with the communication interface.
A single fieldbus network suffices for configuring the individual fieldbus nodes, for cyclic data exchange, for all acyclic services, and for communication with HART®-compatible field instruments. All functional modules can be replaced easily and quickly in the installation or maintenance phase. The functional modules and the - optionally redundant - communication interfaces of systems placed in Zone 1 can be removed and plugged in while operation is running, without affecting the communication of the remaining modules. Only the primary power for the plug-in type power supply modules requires increased safety EEx-e.
Integrated encapsulated switch-off mechanisms allow for hotswapping, i.e. the power supply units can be replaced without interrupting the primary power. Due to its little space requirements and robust design and its environmentally ruggedized case, the I/O system S900 is the best, cost-saving solution for use on site, in hazardous Zone 1 or Zone 2 areas.

Description
This module allows the connection of 16 digital signals to the PROFIBUS-DP, according to DIN EN 61158-2...6; DIN EN 61784-1, within the hazardous area. Signals from flameproof encapsulated limit switches and control devices can be injected directly.
In case of NAMUR sensors or other signalling contacts that are controlled in an intrinsically safe way, barriers or isolator amplifiers are connected on line side. LEDs on the front of the module output the input states as well as important status messages.

Foundation Fieldbus H1 level has been designed as a digital replacement of the 4 to 20mA standard in the process industries. Foundation Fieldbus is also a LAN (Local Area Network) for instruments used in both process and manufacturing automation with built-in capability to distribute the control application across the network. The physical wiring is also fully compatible with intrinsic safety (IS) or nonincendive wiring standards and may be used in hazardous, as well as general purpose areas. In hazardous areas standard explosion-proofing or power limited concepts may be used, as well as IS concepts, offering greater cabling design flexibility.

The solution Interface-HAVE is an alternative to the parallel beams of cables. It is the only system which can transfer the data and energy by means of one only cable with 2 drivers coded with protection against the inversion from polarity. The connection of the detectors and the actuateurs is carried out by the technique of perforation of the insulation.

The increasing level of automation in machines and systems and the consequent rise in the number of I/O devices have in turn increased the amount of wiring required. Decentralised I/O systems bring order to this chaos. Lenze offers two product concepts with IP 20 degree of protection which are suited to both simpler digital applications and more complex automation tasks.
Compact system
The compact version is available in 8, 16 and 32-channel modules with up to 24 inputs and 8 outputs, using single or three-wire technology.

Modular system
The modular version consists of three components: a gateway, electronic modules and a backplane bus. Up to 32 elements can be combined as desired.
