High Energy Igniters (HEI) are Class 3 igniters used for direct spark ignition of oil or gas igniters and small burners
Features:
- Non-fouling spark tip, self-cleaning, highly reliable.Produces
a12 joule spark even in the presence of moisture, oil and
carbon deposits.
- Removable spark tip. Replacement is quick and easy.
- Flexible cable connects the power pack to the spark rod
assembly ensuring operator safety.
- Standard and retractable HEI models are available to fit a
variety of igniter or burner types.

The purpose of an ignitor is to supply the necessary heat release for startingup an industrial burner.
Taking advantage of over 80 years expertise in combustion, PILLARD propose a wide range of electricgas ignitors which may fit all types of burners for boilers, refinery heaters, process furnaces, hot gas generators,
rotary kilns, and reactors of Claus units.
The PACKLIGHT ignitor fires on natural gas or propane.
Its particularity is to incorporate the high voltage transformer in its rear
housing generating the lightingup spark, as well as the ionization
electrode ; the self-checking ionization detector (type PILLARD “IONY” leaflet n° 0202) allows the presence of the ignitor’s flame to be permanently monitored.
The PACKLIGHT ignitors join together the following advantages :
• Ability to supply a heat release of up to 19 kW (400 kW in special
version).
• Incorporation in the rear housing of the high voltage transformer and
the ionization self-checking detector which simplifies installation.
• Display of ionization detection level and gas pressure, which eases
commissioning and maintenance.
• Plug-in connexion which eases maintenance.
• Sturdy and compact construction.
• Easy and quick replacement of the complete rear housing, which eases
maintenance.
• Available with or without external air feed, operation as intermittent
ignitor or permanent pilot, and available in EXPLOSION PROOF
version.

These pilots, intended to ensure the lighting of the gas-burners are adaptable on a great number of products. Two series of pilots are available in order to satisfy gas high pressure and gas the installations fed low pressure.
