The DENSITRAK® Model D625 liquid density meter utilizes the spring mass principle for measuring the fluid density. A portion of the "u" tube is energized to vibrate at its natural resonant frequency by using an electrical feedback driving system. A change in the vibrating mass, (as a result of change in the fluid density) shifts the resonant frequency. A CSI SPUD signal processing unit for density uses temperature, pressure and the shift in frequency to determine the density of the measured fluid.

PROCESS LIQUID IN-LINE DENSITY METERS DC-50 SERIES
LEMIS process DC-50 series of process in-line meters has been carefully engineered for continuous measurement of liquid density to fit large range of applications.
LEMIS process use streamlined resonant tube which is washed on either side by measured liquid. PROCESS LOW FLOW RATE LIQUID IN-LINE DENSITY METERS DC-30 SERIES
LEMIS process uses the proven vibrating element technology which is widely accepted as the most accurate of continuous density measurement. It is based on the frequency changing of the sensitive unit and resistance of the built-in temperature sensor in dependence of characteristics of measured liquid. The oscillation period of the sensitive unit mainly depends on density and temperature of measured liquid.
Continuous monitoring optimizes, controls and manages the processes. DC-30 series has a variety of applications, where low flow rate does not allow to install standard high flow systems. The compact, rugged Thermo Scientific SGD-O is the most reliable non-contacting density gauge for monitoring fluid density, including PPG, PPA and SGU, in the oilfield during fracturing and cementing. Capable of enduring high shock and vibration yet lightweight, this advanced device features rapid response and high accuracy to improve consistency, safety and overall performance. Engineered to withstand the extreme moisture and high humidity of oilfield environments, it rapidly indicates variations in slurry density and proppant concentration during fracturing and cementing operations. The SGD-O is comprised of three components: the source and detector work together to measure the fluid density while the remotely located electronic transmitter provides a clear digital display of the measurement. This advanced gauge measures through any pipe thickness, with the detector providing response in three to five seconds and accuracy of ±0.1 pounds per gallon. The transmitter can be mounted up to 100 feet away from the gauge to ensure worker safety. PORTABLE LIQUID IN-TANK DENSITY METERS DM-250 SERIES
Portable Submersible Density meter DM-250.1 and DM-250.2 are best suited for liquid density and temperature measurements directly in the storage or process tanks (up to 30 meters depth). No labor extensive and errors critical sampling required. Instead, the sensor of DM-250.1 and DM-250.2 are submersed at any required level and record spot density and real temperature at that point directly in the liquid. The operation personal can get in minutes the average density in the tank and its density / temperature / level profile, for example, at every meter. DM-250.3 is best for situation when DM-250.1 and DM-250.2 could not be installed. Just take a sample that is over a hundred mililitres of sample and the equipment will give you the results in seconds!
