The P861 LED Lamp provides visual on/off indication of process conditions in both safe and hazardous areas. Available in a choice of six super-bright colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white), they are ideally suited as part of a panel mounting indicator or illuminated pushbutton assembly.
The P861 itself is a standard BA9s intrinsically safe LED lamp which can be supplied as part of a pilot light or illuminated pushbutton or alternatively supplied separately to be used in any standard switch or lamp assembly.
With the LED lamp being current limited to take a maximum of only 20 mA, it is possible to drive two lamps from a single IIC interface without any affect on the brightness.
With the LED's low power consumption, low heat dissipation and long life expectancy, the P861 is an ideal indicator for safe and hazardous areas alike.

VCC's CMS 322 lens is designed to provide a means of protecting equipment from both drip or splash conditions while displaying panel or circuit board mounted LEDs.
The traditional methods of moisture sealing have been the use of bulky military style indicator lights requiring o-rings, nuts and washers. While these units are effective, they do not provide aesthetics desired in today's modern equipment designs. As a result, engineers faced with the problem of moisture sealing are forced to design elaborate display panel windows with special gaskets. When limited by design funds, engineers have attempted to seal standard panel lenses or indicator lights with adhesives such as RTV. These methods are very expensive in component hardware, extremely labor intensive and lack required aesthetics.
VCC's CMS 322 low-profile lens is equipped with a moisture sealing gasket. Tests by an independent environmental testing laboratory have shown that the lens provides an effective seal against splash and drip conditions. In addition to the water tests, the lens and retaining systems were tested up to 6Gs of shock and from 0 to 2000Hz of vibration. An operating temperature test from -40°C to +85°C and a UV test were also performed. The conclusions attained upon completion of these tests were that the CMS Series lens and the retaining systems used exceeded all test criteria.

FLASHING DEVICES
The electronic lighting fixtures for electrical panels provide an efficient, easy-to –install, technologically advanced tool. The product created as a result of this project has a modern compact design and makes lamps extremely versatile, with different possibilities of positioning and rapid installation speed.
Models from 8w to 21w with 24CC/AC, 125V AC and 240V AC power supply
Installation of the flashing safety device prevents accidents, warning the operator of the presence of voltage in the electrical system by means of flashing. The DSL flashing devices are installed in highly visible positions upon opening of the electrical panel doors, and connected directly downstream to the main switch. The flashing of the three red lamps highlights hazardous conditions. The DSL devices can be connected to both three-phase and single phase lines.

This range of panel mounting LED indicators consists of many different bezel styles, types of LED’s and colours. The range has developed to meet the many different needs of panel design including IP67 environmentally sealed versions for use where a front panel seal is needed.
The vandal resistant LED indicators are designed to complement the vandal resistant switches (see the Switch Section, page 177), they have similar profiles with stainless steel bodies, sealing to IP66 & 68 and are built to withstand harsh environments.

EM20-FPSI 1010
- Red/Green SMART Indicator
- 0 to 30Vd.c. Range
- 2 User Prog. Thresholds
- 1 Control Output
- IP67/NEMA 4X Metal Bezel
The EM20-FPSI 1010 is a ready-to-use panel mounted SMART indicator. This compact LED module indicates green when the input voltage is between two easily programmable levels and red when the input voltage is higher or lower. The levels are easily set and stored in Flash memory. They can be changed as often as desired. This unit can be used in countless applications where a GO / NO GO indicator is required. The module incorporates one output, allowing the user to drive an external alarm or to control the process being monitored. The module uses a metal bezel providing IP67/NEMA 4X protection and screw terminal connectors for easy installation. A 20.5mm (0.81?) diameter panel cut-out is required to mount the unit. For a list of compatible sensors click here. This is a popular part, normally stocked in high quantity and suitable for new designs.
