PRODIS-ADC: Digital Process Meter from ASM
The PRODIS® product family consists of digital process meters with a 6-digit LED display, developed and produced by ASM, a leading manufacturer of linear and rotary position sensors. PRODIS-ADC is a process meter designed especially for sensors with an analog output.
PRODIS-ADC is designed for use with analog position sensors to display angular and linear displacements. A high resolution A/D converter processes the signals from sensors with a voltage output 0…10 V, current output 0/4…20 mA or voltage divider output.
The meter is programmable to display values within preset start/end range or values in units as inches, mm or degrees. A tare function or programming lock can be activated with two control terminals.
The sensor excitation is supplied from the meter. With four membrane keys, all parameters can be programmed for signal evaluation, scaling and output function. Optional comparator functions are available with 4 NPN open-collector outputs and 2 NO/NC relay outputs.

As well as the standard functions - preset, alarms, RS232 output, Max, Min, Difference, etc - Solartron digital readouts and dual digital displays boast a number of new functions.
For example, the new "Scaling Factor" function can be used to compensate for angled or lever operated probes, or diameter when measured in a V block. It also enables measurement of angles or squares.
Other new functions include the "Gauging Mode" - allowing global pass/fail evaluation of up to 30 scan channels -and "Max A Max B".

New PAX Lite Model with Relay Outputs : PAXLA
The first in a new series of PAX Lite panel meters has just been released. The new PAXLA can accept DC current, DC voltage, or process input signals, and scale them to a desired readout. This new model also has two form "C" relays capable of switching up to 5 amps, providing complete dual setpoint output control capability!
Flexibility has been built-in to the power supply as well. The newly designed universal power supply accepts 50 to 250 VAC or 21.6 to 250 VDC and provides 24 VDC output for sensor power.
