ECO-OIL series by Nilfisk-CFM is composed by two models: EC-Oil 13 (1,3 kW) and Eco-Oil 22 (2,2 kW). How do OIL models operate?
Oil, liquids and swarf collection is achieved using an oil
resistant rubber hose. The liquid part is seperated from
the swarf - which is trapped in the swarf container - and
sucked into the tank; inside the tank there is an automatic
level control which cuts off the power when the tank is full.
At this point the liquid can be pumped back into the machine
tool through a pump, while the swarf container can be
emptied manually.

The liquid-vacs WSS100 and WST100 have been designed for wet applications in the industrial context. Both models come into two main versions: with or without diverting valve. The valve can reverse the suction flux for an easy and fast discharge. In the absence of the diverting valve the liquid is discharged by gravity; both models are available painted or in stainless steel. Moreover model WST100 is equipped with a tilting motorhead allowing an easy access to the metal basket (optional)containing swarfs and other solid materials.

A total of 12 vacuums make up this new ATTIX range, which is designated as the ATTIX 30, 40 and 50 Safety series. The designation number represents an indication of the container volume size. The units include some with M-class hazardous dust approval, indicating a hazardous rating of Medium, while others have H- class (Highly hazardous) approval for work in conditions, such as asbestos removal, where the airborne dust is of a particularly hazardous nature. The Type 22 model in this range is approved for work with explosive dust in ATEX Zone 22 environments. There is also a Clean Room vacuum designed for use in clean room applications, such as are found in hospitals, electronics laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry.
The various models are fitted with either the Push&Clean filter system, or the XtremeClean filter system. Both systems represent filter technology designed by Nilfisk to optimise dust collection and operating efficiencies. The Push&Clean system maintains consistent suction, extends the life of the filter and saves cost, while XtremeClean offers a highly efficient and easy to activate automatic filter cleaning system.

New range of Nilfisk backpack vacuum cleaners
Nilfisk-Advance has introduced its GD 5 / GD 10 range of back-pack vacuum cleaners. Aimed primarily at cleaning contractors and institutional maintenance departments, these units complement the company’s existing backpacks to provide productive and ergonomic cleaning in all applications.
The GD 5 / GD 10 backpack vacuums were recently evaluated in an
independent set of test studies conducted by the Sweden-based Två
Ergonomer testing and ergonomic consultancy bureau. The study
compared the Nilfisk model to three other internationally recognised brands of backpack vacuum cleaners. In its report, the bureau concluded that the Nilfisk GD 5 / GD 10 rated “better than rivalling backpack
vacuums on all design criteria”. The ergonomic evaluation further noted the importance of the Nilfisk unit’s lighter weight and overall harness design in minimising stress and strain on the body.
Additionally, the Nilfisk unit achieved higher productivity rates in the studies carried out. The ergonomically advanced harness design was mentioned as being an important factor in allowing work to be carried out at a faster rate.
