OEM Solutions
When it comes to integrating vision or optical measurement capabilities into one's original equipment, picking separate components on the sole consideration of their state-of-the-art specifications doesn't make it right every time. When it makes it. What is of utmost importance, rather, is the supplier's skills in sorting out the very requirements that govern the final system performance and customizing the right solution for the right cost.
We specializes in supplying industry OEMs with specific solutions that exactly meet their exact vision or optical application requirements.
Here is another example of customization and application-specific solution:

OEM Imaging Solutions
Apogee is a proven supplier of OEM imaging solutions. We can provide a modified version of any of our standard models or a completely new design to your requirements. Contact Apogee for more information on how we can be your preferred supplier of embedded imaging systems.
OEM Evaluation Program
We can help you choose the right sensor for the job. If we do not already support the sensor that you need, we can discuss adding it to our product line. Once a sensor has been chosen, we provide OEM customers with a system for evaluation. The best way to feel confident that our systems are right for you: try one out.
Cost
We supply the best price/performance in the industry. Researchers rely on Apogee to provide excellent value for their investment. OEMs rely on Apogee Instruments to make their products more cost effective and competitive. Please contact our sales team for a quotation for any quantity, large or small. We make it easy for you to get started with us.
Ease of Integration
All of our systems run on a single universal software driver. If you integrate control of one Apogee system into your custom software environment, you automatically have support for all of our systems. Based on the feedback we get from our customers, integration is simple and straightforward.
Broad Selection

DVL Series
LORD's high-sensitivity DVL Series of linescan cameras offer superior imaging performance.
Our linescan cameras feature C or F or Mamiya lens mounts. The standard Camera Link interface makes integration easy into existing systems and increases flexibility when it comes to connecting to various grabbers or changing cameras. Other interfaces are available on request. |

Alta Features
The Alta Design Team worked hard over a two year period to bring this advanced degree of integration and performance to our valued customers. Alta set new standards for imaging performance, connectivity, cooling, compactness, cost effectiveness, and the elimination of external support electronics.
Like the AP and KX series, Alta is a platform, not a CCD or specific interface type. It is designed for a variety of CCDs, ranging from the smallest to those measuring 36mm on a side with 4096 x 4096 arrays.
The Alta platform comes in 3 optical apertures. The D1 systems contain the small-mid size CCDs and maintain C-mount back focal distance. The D2 systems contain larger CCDs up to 28mm on a side. Our D7 systems accommodate very large CCDs such as the Kodak KAF-16801E, KAF-16803, and KAF-09000 sensors. Our newest addition, the D9s, provide the same aperture for these very large CCDs, but provide deeper cooling. |

|
| The APX-i2 brings the many benefits of an intensified head to the ultima APX. Providing true mega pixel resolution (1,048,576 ten bit pixels per frame) to 2,000 frames per second (fps) and with gating down to twenty nanoseconds, the intensified head is swappable with either the monochrome or color camera heads on any existing ultima APX system; meaning one APX processor can support ALL three different camera heads without needing retuning or modification. Another real nice feature of the ultima APX-i2 is the ability to offset sequential frames by as little as one nanosecond. This enables cyclical events, such as inkjet printer operation to be recorded with one image per cycle, and as little time as a single nanosecond between frames to give an apparent equivalent framing rate of 1,000,000,000 fps at mega pixel resolution! For applications requiring a fast and truly cyclical framing rate, the APX-i2 retains the APX's ability to operate as fast as 120,000 fps and preserves all the features that have made the ultima APX the best selling mega-pixel camera in the world. |
