|
ImageXpert's fully-integrated motion system is typically comprised of a multi-axis motion table for sample positioning, a series of cameras for image capture, a vacuum chuck for sample handling and a vibration isolation table. At the core of the motion system is the full power of the ImageXpert image analysis software for part and print inspection.
Systems can be configured to meet a wide range of image quality measurement requirements. Popular options include multiple cameras, an automatic document feeder and fully integrated instrumentation including a glossmeter, a spectrodensitometer for color and density measurement and/or a laser for height profiling (3-D inspection).

Checker is a totally new, ultra high-speed feature checker. It is ideal for checking that all the components are present on an assembly. Checker is a great tool for solving many manufacturing problems that previously were difficult or impossible to solve with single photo sensors, multiple photo sensors or other similar devices.Checker compact design provides illumination, optics, sensor, processor, memory and I/O, all fully integrated in a single industrial-grade package about the size of a cell phone. Checker is so simple to use that even first time users will have it up and running in a matter of minutes. With Checker, manufacturers are able to easily and cost effectively inspect multiple features on 100% of their products at each stage of production. Because Checker can analyse over 400 images per second, it can keep up with even the fastest manufacturing processes.

With the FA 45 vision sensor for colour detection, SensoPart presents the first intelligent automation solution which combines many years experience in standard sensor technology with modern – and above all powerful – image processing technology. For the first time, industrial users can solve demanding applications without knowledge of image processing technology, using only familiar sensor technology.
The advantages are as varied as they are simple:
· “Plug and Play“ without experience in image processing
· Miniaturisation of dimensions with integrated intelligence
· Reliability in the harshest ambient conditions
· And all that at an unbeatable price ...
Applications include:
· Detection of coloured objects (components, inscriptions etc.)
· Detection of active (i.e. luminous) components such as LEDs or displays (for intensity and colour)
· Detection of “non-colours“ such as white, grey, black which is important e.g. with cable core colours for connector pin assignment.
Precise application examples
· Detection of colour markings in quality assurance
· Checking colour inscriptions
· Presence of coloured components
· Detection of LCD displays, screens, LED colours and intensity
· Detection of colours for cables, cable harnesses and connectors (correct pin assignment)
· Detection of degree of browning on food, e.g. with baked products
FA 45 branch applications include:
· Automotive and supply industry
· Special-purpose machine construction
· Machine and plant engineering
· Food and beverage industry
· Logistics and packaging industry
· Pharmaceutical industry
· Metal processing industry
· Electrical and electronics industry

The simple, powerful vision sensors from Cognex.
The Checker® vision sensor is an award winning all-in-one vision sensor with built in lighting and a variable working distance, capable of inspecting over 6,000 parts per minute - all in a package small enough to fit into the tightest of spaces.
Detects a part by finding an actual part feature. This provides extremely reliable part detection unattainable with photoelectric sensors.
Inspects features that other sensors cannot. Checker actually understands what your part looks like.
Inspects unlimited multiple part features simultaneously with a single Checker.
Overcomes varying part positions. Parts on a line typically vary in position, and Checker tracks all of them without requiring precise part handling.

ImageXpert's scanner-based system provides an economical solution for print quality analysis. Once samples are scanned, print quality features are analyzed by ImageXpert's powerful software and numerical results are reported. ImageXaminer is available with an automatic document feeder (ADF) with 100 sheet capacity. This allows samples to be loaded and analyzed by the ImageXpert software, without the need for operator intervention. This ability to perform batch processing increases efficiency and reduces costs.

The TapTone 4000-DSC - Dual Sensor Compression (DSC) system is designed to inspect a wide variety of flexible containers for micro leaks. The design incorporates our patented dual sensor technology and high speed compression belts for improved accuracy and container handling. The system was designed for harsh, wet environments, like those found in the dairy industry. When combined with the optional X-ray sensor, the system can also perform fill level inspection.
X-ray Technology - measures the product fill level in steel, aluminum, glass, plastic and paper containers. An X-ray tube is used to produce a low-energy X-ray beam. The X-ray beam penetrates the side of the container in the area of the fill level. An X-ray detector is positioned on the opposite side of the container to measure the intensity of the beam after it goes through the container. The intensity of the beam is then compared to acceptable energy levels to determine the relative fill level of each container. The X-ray sensor is used to measure both overfilled and under filled products in all types of containers.

Complete mobile systems can be trailer or truck mounted. This is a general purpose type prover presently being used in the gas and petroleum industries. It could be adapted or modified for use in other industries as well. A range of sizes, up to 1500 gallons, can be produced.
An example of a trailer mounted prover is the 100 Gallon Volumetric Liquified Petroleum Gas Prover. This prover is in use by a State Bureau for the purpose of accurately measuring and checking flow meters and gauges. It is mounted on a trailer for maximum mobility and convenience for transporting the unit to inside or outside mounted meters. It can be used to check meters measuring LP (liquid petroleum gas) being loaded into the truck and or those meters measuring the gas as it is dispensed from the vehicle.
Any standard, or custom measures, or provers can be trailer or truck mounted to your specifications and for all industries whether it's for in-yard or over-the-road purposes.
Custom trailers meet all I.C.C. regulations. They can be equipped with brakes and can be leveled by jack screws or hydraulic jacks. Dual axles are available where required.
Benefits of the CMS Prover Systems are directed towards manpower and human resource savings which provide increased productivity, safety, visibility and ease of operation. Added results, improved customer relations.
