With Watlow's diverse RAYMAX® radiant heater line, we have a solution for almost any application requiring radiant heat. Our capabilities cover a wide range of needs, from contamination-resistant panel heaters to fast-responding quartz tubes to rugged tubular elements and high temperature ceramic panels.
Applying radiant heaters can be complicated. Watlow's engineering staff has the level of training required to help you meet your application requirements, providing a high degree of technical support such as conducting testing for your application at our facility, calculating your watt density and temperature requirements, and recommending system components such as sensors and controllers. With our experience in a wide range of industries, chances are Watlow has already helped someone handle a radiant heating application like yours.
Applications
Thermoforming
Food warming
Paint and epoxy curing
Heat treating
High temperature furnaces
Tempering and annealing processes

A RANGE OF CERAMIC GAS HEATERS ADAPTED TO ALL HEATING NEEDS IN INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS (height of 4 meters and more).
Use: Industrial buildings, Churches, Sports halls, Car service, Terraces, ...
- a large range of heaters from 2,5 to 27 kW and more.
- a choice of 10 powers for a comfort in all type of buildings whatever the
hanging height of the heaters
- a double-speed option for a better comfort, particularly in well insulated
buildings

Wide area radiant heaters can be mounted to radiate in any direction and can reliably operate, with no reduction in radiant output over the life of the heater. The lightweight building block approach allows for a modular installation which is easily expandable. One-piece bonded construction resists damage from vibration and shock. These heaters also have a lower operating cost with up to 80% of the input energy transmitted to and absorbed by the work material.

Infra-red radiation partly reflects with a fall on material and partly absorbs. Tre absorbed radiation is changed in heat that penetrates through body. It is a similarity to the sun radiation when with low temperatures comes to a feeling of a heat amenity.
Exactly this piece of knowledge is used with the design of heating with infra radiators HELIOS. In contrast to the air-heating when the hottest air is collected at the ceiling, in our case the effect is exactly contradictory. A stable natural heat climate is created without noise, air draught and dust whirling in an ecologically friendly way. We lower the temperature in the hall about 3-5°C on purpose and the required heat amenity is reached by the radiant heat of the infra radiator.
It is a kind of a „completion“ on a required temperature. The lowering of the calculation air temperature of 1°C brings cca. 7% energy saving. In the present case 20 – 30%.
