The Interspec 200-X series of FTIR spectrometers represent a low cost Fourier transform infrared spectrometers and employ a number of unique features that ensure high performance from a compact instrument. The Interspec 200-X measures just 59 X 39 X 19 cm and is regarded as one of compact and versatile infrared FTIR spectrophotometers. The design of the 200-X is unique both in terms of optical design and the software and firmware designed specifically to significantly reduce overall analytical times. The interferometer geometry is employing a new compact Michelson self compensating optical system that eliminates many of the optical alignment problems found in conventional type optical interferometers. The Interspec 200-X design avoids the use of conventional corner cube optics and dynamic alignment. In practice this means that the instrument can be used in the research laboratory, in any university or college environment and if required, can also be used outside laboratory or in remote locations.

M Series spectrometers provide a full range of resolution, from 2cm -1 for routine analysis up to 0.5cm -1 for high resolution work such as gas and multicomponent analysis. All models are step selectable down to 32cm -1 . The generous sample compartment is accessible from three sides and accepts sampling accessories from most major suppliers.
Current generation M4000 spectrometers truly represent evolved technology. They represent over two decades of product development, incorporating many of the features that allow our high performance dedicated analyzers to achieve low ppb detection levels in complex gas matrices. This includes dual 16 bit ADC architecture, and advanced mirror drive electronics providing six different scan speeds and superior stability. You can select from KBr, ZnSe and BaF2 optics to suit your spectral region of interest. Three available detectors, including air cooled DTGS and liquid nitrogen cooled MCT or InSb provide further flexibility. Thermo-electrically cooled MCT and InSb detectors that do not require liquid nitrogen for cooling are also available. You can even specify a dual detector system, where switching detectors is as easy as turning a key.

The Mobile-IR is a self-contained, rugged mobile infrared spectrometer for identification of unknown substances. Unlike other portable instruments, Bruker’s Mobile-IR offers benchtop FT-IR performance, providing wider spectral coverage and higher spectral resolution. The Mobile-IR is available as a powders and liquids analyzer or a dedicated liquid analyzer. Its embedded computer with large touchscreen display offers validation. OPUS/Mentor software guides the users in every step of the analysis, can rapidly identify the unknowns from the built-in library. Additional libraries can easily be added.
Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy provides information on molecular vibrations and allows chemical fingerprinting of samples. It is widely used for the analysis of both organic and inorganic materials. This non-destructive technique requires only a small amount of sample for analysis. Unknown substance may be identified by comparison with library reference spectra. Moreover, the ATR (attenuated total reflection) sampling technique eliminates sample preparation, offers easy and fast sampling of liquids and solids.
Bruker is the leading manufacturer and worldwide supplier of Fourier Transform Infrared, Near Infrared and Raman spectrometers. It offers the world’s most comprehensive FT-IR product line that includes routine to research grade FT-IR spectrometers; from the world’s smallest to the highest resolution spectrometers for various quality control.

NIR Sensors use Near Infrared energy to make direct measurements of specific constituents or components of products during processing. They operate on the principal that certain wavelengths of NIR energy are selectively absorbed by these constituents.
NDC Infrared Engineering manufactures a whole range of NIR Sensors which use three principle configurations:
. Backscatter (or Diffuse Reflection)
. Transmission and Forward Scatter (or Diffuse Transmission)
. Specular Reflection
Each configuration lends itself to particular products to offer a no-compromise measurement solution.
The advantage of NIR measurement technology is that it is completely safe, with extremely low energy levels in a safe area of the electromagnetic spectrum. This means that no special shielding is required nor any licensing or special safety training for operators.
